April 13th show

Hey guys,

 

this is not really a review but just a quick writeup. i love celine so on a whim we dedided to drive up to vegas and try our luck on standby even thou it is her firs weekend back and there is a big convetion in Vegas.

i heard yesterday's standby was bad. something like 200 people in line and only 40 or so got in.

so by the time we made it to the line today from 5 hrs of horrible traffic, there were 20 or so people in front of me. and i had all these expectations for a "good seat". Of course no AA was available and we got 1 ticket KK ORCH 4 seat and 1 LL RCH 4. of course i was not too happy cause i am spoiled with front row seats and 10th row for me is like a universe away. so by the time i made inside i found out that some casino VIP had colosseum accomodate his 14-15 person party in ORCH 4 KK including my seat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and when i said how is that possible they said that they don't really want to move them out of my seat and offered me NN. i said NO Way, you gotta be kidding me!!!!! so while the ushers were trying to fix the situation the camera zeroed on my unhappy face......they were still working on it when Celine came out!!! what a shame. i was MAD!! after 2 songs they put us in ORCH 5 JJ 4 seats away from ORCH 6. i guess, i am just not happy that things like that are possible.

 

the crowd i think was lame today, except for Celine fans. other than celine fans, it was just a bunch of BOZOs who were running to the bathroom all the time (dudes mostly). i mean, c'mon, can't you pee before the show?

 

 

Celine was cute and sweet. she said that only 100 shows are left and then a few people were like:oooohhhh.... and she was like: Don't be sad, you can come back tomorrow:):)

 

overall, it was a good show but i felt like Celine didn't sing in her full voice. even RDMH was kinda "quiter". but celine was beautiful and sweet.

 

JJ--- never sat that far and I DON't LIKE those seats.

 

I guess i will try my luck again and will see what happens. on the bright side i still have 6 more front row tickets in my pocket until November so i guess i cannot be that dissappointed.

 

the girl about 12 year old who got a rose i felt like she wasn't even exciited. almost like she shrugged her shoulders. and the hug she gave Celine was meaningless. at least it is my opinion.

 

OOOOO, new posters ARE HHHOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTT!!!

 

and the new show program is not in yet...:(:(

yeah, I understand that. Did you talk to anyone at the Colosseum about it? Maybe they can make up for it somehow?

Box office wasn't dealing with that right after the show but tomorrow morning i am gonna be there first thing and complain. i am gonna need standby tickets anyway so maybe they will feel bad and give something good for tomorrow. it is crazy here though. celine is back from vacation and it is insane how many people wanna get in.

 

lol, i guess it was a crazy idea anyway just to show up with everything unplanned and no tickets:)

Exactly, you can't turn up for a show, and expect front row, by standing in the stanby line, some people get lucky yes, but if you really wanted front row you would have got these tickets when they first came out. Spare a thought for ppl who have never been to vegas or even seen celine live, they would be sooo happy with any seat in the theatre!!! Count yourself lucky to be able to see her is all I am saying....

it is just a busy weekend. but a beauty of it is that it was spontaneous and ppl have gotten AA's and better (DD myself for New Years) in standby. i guess i just LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Celine:):)

Hi guys

 

I was there last night too, but was lucky enough to get row FF orch 4 yay! She was on top form, really smiley and playfull - she was constantly winking at various people in the audience. On I'm Alive she was ever so playfull, goofing around more than usual with the dancers. There were also a few new dance moves in there, I swear this show just gets better and better as it matures, its like a finely tuned crossfire ;-) hehehe which by the way I'm driving this weekend, cos the car people upgraded me. She even did a few Elvis moves!

 

She was just such good fun!

wow. that's pretty bad! if they're going to bump you from the seat you paid for, they at least need to move you to a BETTER seat.. wtf! did you have any luck at the box office this morning?

 

It's amazing how much demand there seems to be for tickets right now. It seems like a lot of non-celine people who come to vegas once a year or whatever are realizing it's their last chance to see her, and they'd might as well do it. I'm tempted to go for standby one of these days. my next ticket isn't until may 31st and I haven't seen her since Jan 20

Thank you for telling us about the show! I miss Celine very much!!! hehehe I was talking to a friend who came to visit me today (her already left for another friend's house) and we talked about how many times we could see the show and after all --- on the most important one lol -- we are going to sit very very very far, orch 6 row O lol --- yeah I guess we've been spoiled all these years A New Day show spoiled us heheh Btw, I miss Celine.. have I said that, yet? lmao

Hey, hope it all worked out with the tickets! My friend was there last night and she told me that Celine slipped and fell during I Wish...that's all I know, haven't heard anything else, so hopefully she didn't hurt herself! It always made me nervous to see her go up the stairs in her heels for I Surrender!

OMG, Celine did fall , well slipped and ended up briefly on her cute boote' during the last Sinatra Song. i hope she is ok. she made it look like it was planned and didn't even wink. i think crowd thought it was like that anyway.

we ended up with KK 411 and 412......and 2 free drink coupons.

 

You said you still have front row tickets---how did you get those? I thought on BB and back were ever available to buy and that AA(at least in orch 4) was only vip? please enlighten me! thanks

 

 

i do still have AA but those are ORCh 3 and Orch 5 - those came from Ticketmaster. Orch 4 for 2 dates in november we got from scalpers. but as far as i know at this point there is just nothing available that is decent. it is like something swept through. there is i think 2 dates in early dec that have AA tickets for like a thousand bucks each......:(:(
