Standby line

Hey everyone,

 

Im planning on being in Vegas from May 18-20, and if it were up to me I would be seeing Celine EVERY night. But I am going for my friends bachelorette party. Im planning on staying an extra night, May 20 to see Celine. If I stand in the stand by line, what do you think my odds of getting a good ticket are? I need some opinions because I wasn't planning on buying a ticket ahead of time. Thanks guys!!

Caesars will release their tickets that they have given to the VIPs if they haven't picked them up by 7:30pm...so the first person or two who is in the standby line might have a chance at front row or other VIP seats. I am not sure when the line usually begins to perform. When I was there in March people were in line at 11am due to the cancellations.

I remember in March people were in line at like 5pm. I was in line with a friend and she was no where near the front and she got orch 4 row CC, so Im hoping I have the same luck. And since I will be by myself, I can stand in the line as long as I want...LOL!

Hi there! My friend and I had a lucky shot one day, we went to the Boxoffice at 20:25 pm, actually to ask something else, but while we were there we decided to ask if there were any tickets left. There was no one in line at that time. The guy looked in the computer and said: I happen to have two AA-tickets, would you like to buy them? OH MY GOD! We were completely out of this world! We did not even look at the tickets at that time, I thought we would be somewhere at the side. But we ran into the theatre... To find out there that we were at Orchestra 4, AA, completely in the middle! MIRACLES DO EXIST!

it is a little funny but i was planning the same thing too only for this weekend of april 14th. it is not 100 % decided yet but we might drive to vegas just for the heck of it and see if we luck out. right now it is sold out but you never know. if we do go and don't get the good seats, i guess we will go to dinner and then say that we drove to vegas for 5 hrs just to go to dinner:):)

Well that would be one long drive for dinner, so choose a good place...LOL! Let me know how it goes. How are your plans for November?

I know I would be too, but I wouldn't even care...come on...IT'S CELINE!! I'd just go pick up my paychecks and go STRAIGHT to her mailbox and just sign it and deposit it into her account! WOW...I know, I'm crazy!

I am planning to go to Vegas in same date, but will arrive at 7PM to the airport (hope no delays)... and will be probably q-ing for tickets stand by... If I will not get on Fridays performance, I will try saturday... But that nigh taking a midnight flight back....

Keep your patience while you are there, the guy at the Ticketbox told us these tickets are given free just several minutes before the show starts. Most people are already inside by then. We had to run as well, because the doors were almost closing, so you can imagine what time it was (I think about 08:35 pm). We have been told they keep this tickets for casino-winners and family and friends of the staff. If no one claimes them, they will become available. I do think there are better chances during weekdays, because weekends are busier. GOOD LUCK all of you!

I have been to Vegas several times to see Céline, even though I swore to restrain myself and bought only 2 or 3 tickets for a showweek in advance I ended up going to every show in that showweek every time, I am so weak LOL Anyway everytime I went there I ended up with front row tickets by just coming back to the boxoffice every hour or so. In January I ended up with the ORCH 4 AA seat 405 ticket. In the middle of first row and it became available around 6 p.m. So you never know. I will go one last time to the Vegas (for now) in december for the last show and I managed to get tickets for the 14th and the 15th of december, I think it will be impossible to get tickets for the 12th and the 13th while I am there but you never know. Good luck!

Well I think it's a roll of the dice. Each day is gonna be diff but def Wed & Thur shows will be easier to get on standby. I was there in March when she canceled 3 shows and I heard 100 people were on the standby line for the Sat show and they all got in. I heard the line formed around 12noon. I went on Sunday and got on the standby line at 430pm with only 6 people in front of me and we all got in. The line was very long and I don't think a lot got in that night. I talked to the first 8 people online that got tix and none were in Orch4, a few were in rear orch and the rest were in 1st & 2nd Mezz. So it's hard to say what it will be like - it's really hit or miss. You have to remember that you'll have to be there early and just stand in line waiting but that's ONLY if the show is sold out. If it's not you can just buy a ticket at the box office any time you are in Vegas. For me, I'd rather buy the ticket in advance & know I have a seat.
