Happy birthday, Celine!

Well, we all know that it's Celine's birthday on Friday! :clap:

Now let me tell you my story...

Many months ago my friends and I were all invited to a semi-formal party thing and we saw that it cost $40 for each of us to go. We thought it was a little pricey, so instead I suggested we go somewhere on that day of the semi-formal and call it our semi-casual :giggle: . Turns out that the day of the formal is on March 29th, 2007. That's right, one day before Celine birthday. My best friend Karen realized that as well, but only because I vandalized her agenda on that date :giggle: . So, amazingly enough, she was the one who suggested we have a little Celine celebration! :w00t: I was sooo jubilant about the idea when she told me. So, we started organizing a night out with our friends on the 29th to celebrate Celine :wub: . We invited about thirteen people to come with us to a place called "Jack Astors". So on the Saturday that just past (the 24th) Karen called "Jack Astors" to make reservations for the 29th. A lady picked up and Karen told her she wanted to make reservations and the lady said,

"Hold on one moment while I put you on with the manager."

When the manager came, she was also a woman. Karen told her she wanted to make a reservation for thirteen people on March 29th. The manager nosed a little bit and asked what it was for and Karen started to sputter :giggle:

"Well, you know... we're kind of having this thing for this celebrity that we don't personally know, and who doesn't exactly know us..."

And the manager was dumbfounded on the other side of the line, and after two minutes she finally said,

"You're having a birthday party for someone you don't know? I don't get it..."

Then Karen became like wet paper and just broke out,

"Okay, well, you see, I have this friend who's obsessed with Celine Dion and so we're having a little get together thing for her for the funness of it."

After Karen finished, the manager was like,

"Awwwwe! THAT'S SO CUUUUTE!" :mdr:

And then she kept rambling on how she was a fan too and said she saw the show and Karen told her I didn't get to see her show yet and she was listening to Karen and said,

"Omigosh, she's a Celine Dion fan and she hasn't seen her in concert yet?!". (She said it like it was a HUGE surprise.)

Then she kept rambling for another minute or so and she finally said,

"Okay, so dinner reservation for thirteen people on the 29th?"

And we agreed and it was over. So now tomorrow, we're gonna celebrate Celine! We're all planning to become Celine freakoids and take pictures and remember it forever more :lmao: . Karen also made Celine a cake. We'll take pictures and send it to her... suggested Karen. Her and her fantastic ideas, no wonder she's my best friend. :wub:

So basically, almost none of it, or very little of it came from me. How strange... :giggle:

How fun. Happy Early Birthday to Celine!!!! I am so glad she took a vacation so she can hopefully relax. i used to celebrate all by myself and lay out all contents of my Celine trunk and the floor didn't have enough space. and i would have a slice of cake for her on the 30th. my classmates thought it was nuts. but hey, i don't care. lately i have not beem having my cake on Celine's bday but none the less i always rememebr what a special day that is. and thanks to Maman Dion and Celine's dad for giving all of us a great gift of Celine!!!!! this friday i am gonna celebrate.

The thing I would do on Celine's birthday is have me some ice cream cake chips and a tall glass of milk and watch my Celine DVDs and talk to some of you guys on the forum. to the Celine :beerchug: :happybday: cheers everyone.

lol, that's so cuuute! :D :P I wish I could have my own Celine-celebration-day, but I'm spending the night at my sister apartment, before our little trip on saturday.. and I don't think I'll be so popular if I bring a bunch of DVD's :P

I could wear one of my concert t-shirts though :D

Happy Early Birthday to our dearest Celine!!! I'm so glad that she is able to celebrate with her family while she is having her most recent vacation! Me and my friend did a sort of a Celine celebration for her Bday last year. I even brought champagne :lmao: . This year we're celebrating her on the 31st, cause we're working on the 30th... that is so cool!!! you have great friends!!!!i wish i could make something like that with my friends :unsure: ...but then they will think that i'm crazy more than what they think now :shifty: , but tomorrow i'll be listening Celine all day on my ipod because i wont have time to watch some vids :cry: ( i'll be in the laboratory in the morning and at school in the afternoon :glare: )
