I was wondering if celine reads these forums??

 

 

anyway the reason I registered was because

 

I really really really like the song My heart will go on

(ever since i was a kid i've liked it) when titanic came out...but i never really knew the true meaning to it till now and i think this sone is soog good...i listen to this song 10 years later and i really started to like it even more...I think celine has a beautiful voice and the lyrics are really passionate i love them it gets me emotional...also it goes with titanic SO WELL! she did a GREAT job..im proud to be canadian...i wanted to ask why Celine made this song? what point in life was she in? did she make it for the titanic story?? its the best song very intense in a soothing way

If I remember correctly, the song was written for her to sing for the movie...even though at first the director said he didn't want a song for the movie. And Celine didn't even want to do it when she first heard it. Rene convinced her to give it a try and when she went to the studio they told her and Rene the plot of the movie and the love story and she was then convinced. She only recorded the song once that day in the studio and she never recorded it again....totally amazing! After the James Cameron (the director) heard the song, he knew he wanted it! I think this is the story if I remember what I read...If I'm wrong someone plz correct me.
