How are you guys doing it?

Hello everyone, I just have a couple of questions...how in the world are you able to meet Celine? I mean, do you have to win some sort of contest? Or be invited? Or pay something extra? Or what? I'm so curious. It is my lifelong dream to meet her, and I don't have a clue how people are able to meet her? Please reply to this, and let me know! Give me some details!

I was one of the lucky fans who got to be a part of the dvd tapings..and the J Production had a surprise for us and that was a meeting with Celine.

 

Some of the fans has seen Rene and he has arranged the meeting, sometimes it's Patrick or Michel.

 

It's difficult...you have to be really lucky to meet her.

Yeah, I always enter those contests on TeamCeline, but what are the chances of that happening?...slim to none...but that would be the best day of my life too!

Michael is so right. In my own experience, I've waited patiently for almost 12 years to meet her. I tried to be patient, positive and especially said to myself to never expect anything when I went anywhere to see Céline. Also, I always wanted it to be pre-arranged, as in that SHE made the choice to do this meet&greet and that SHE wanted to make time for it and not through other people and appear on her doorstep. High standards for a meet&greet I know. But I kept on dreaming and hoping and this january it just happened.

 

I went with a bunch of other Dutch fans to Vegas in april 2006, and the worst thing for a Céline-fan happened to us...Céline cancelled all the shows in the week we were there. We were sad of course but send Céline some 'get wel soon gifts' and went all the way back home without seeing her. We all agreed we wanted to go back soon, several of us did so in October but Mathias and I decided immediately it was going to be january 2007. We wanted to go in the most 'quiet, cheapest and boring' week of the year and we decided in july or august 2006 it was going to be the week of 16-22 january 2007.

 

Well it turned out the most quiet and boring week of the year all right, LOL. You can read our review HERE. I have never ever in my entire life, gotten so strongly the feeling that it was all meant to be, Céline cancelling on us, and choosing the week of the DVD-taping even before we knew the DVD was going to be taped. The backstage tour, the meet&greet everything happened because it just had to happen I so strongly believe that! Dreams really do come true! And on a moment you least expect it! Keep believing...and one day, it's your turn.

Well thankyou sooo much! I believe one day it will happen! I mean it's been like almost 15 years for me! I'm still waiting, and I will continue to do so! I will ALWAYS be such a devoted fan! I love getting support through fellow Celine fans on here...oh it's so great!
