What does "Love" in "That's the way it is" mean?

It doesn't make sense if we translate "love" in the song as "love" .

 

 

In my opinion, Love means "moral support." Do you think so?

I think what its saying is no matter how sad you are now love will come again and everything will be ok(love will conquer )

 

and love is like a game and its hard but when you get it its worth the struggle and not to give up(dont surrender)

 

 

but i may be wrong but thats how i see the song dont give up as love is worth the struggle

I think love should be accepted as a "universal", everyday feeling:

 

to feel loved by people and

to love what you do...

 

which also means the moral support.

I agree with mazceline. Everyone connects songs to different views and you can't expect them to have the same opinion or get the same message from a particular song.
