Well, since Julian isn't here right now, I feel free to translate what the german press wrote about Céline.....I'm sure Julian won't mind

 

First article only lets us know that Céline performed "IKILY" by Ennio Morricone. They considered it fantastic

 

Second article tells us that Céline always likes to point out that she's a perfectionist. And not only in the recording studio, also when it comes to make-up: She appeared with a perfect, warm and peach-colored make-up......

 

Last article says that Céline was wearing a J. Mendel gown with the trend accessory of the night: a clutch-bag (please don't ask me what that is ). They also say that she's wearing a snake-shaped bracelet by "de Grisogono".....

I`m sorry I don`t have a scan...but in the latest issue of People they only have one mention of Celine...and they show the green dress and the vanity Fair Party dress...not even one mention of the gorgeous J. Mendel dress she performed in I`m surprised they didn`t even mention her jewelery or anything.

Neither Ok! or Hello! mags in the UK mention Celine at the Oscars, and they both have pages and pages of pictures. Madonna, who only bloody went to an after-party, was in Hello in about 3 friggin pictures. It's official- the Uk must seriouslyy hate Celine- no column inches, no nothing therefore. And she looked so damn good. If she'd looked mingin they'd be quick to put her in. BASTARDO
