What Happened to Having Another Baby?

So I wonder what happened.....less than a year ago all Celine talked about was having another Baby after Vegas. Now "there is a strong possibility of a World Tour". So what happened! It concerns me some because I wonder if she found out that she couldn't have another baby. That is the only thing that I can think of. I wish a reporter would ask her about this to see what she would say. Don't get me wrong, I am excited about a World Tour, but since having another Baby was so important to her I only wonder what happened to change all that.

To me, if she wants to be a mother again, she shouldn't wait too much... She's getting older and so is René.

 

It's true that now, when journalists ask her about a potential baby, she avoids the question and says "Now the next thing we're planning is a world tour"... That's bizarre.

She was talking about it ALL THE TIME, even when journalist didn't ask about it, and know, she doesn't talk about it at all... It's weird... That's normal it makes people wonder about what's going on.

I started this topic because I was concerned about her happiness. It seemed that having another baby was very important to her and now it is not even mentioned. I agree that there are a lot of things that we discuss on this forum that are none of our business; however, we still discuss those issues. But because Celine is in the spotlight and has fans, we want to know what is going on in her life. And she has shared with us for the last few years that she wanted to have another baby, and now she doesn't mention it so I was only concerned wondering what happened because I think we all care about her and want her to be happy.

yes i def agree... something did happen. she went from talking about how she would never go on tour again after havin rene charles (in fact thats the whole reason she wanted to do the vegas show) and how she couldn't wait till after vegas to try to have another baby..... to planning a huge world tour. sure celine's personal life isn't really anyones business but her own, but celine has talked so much in the past about her plans after vegas and regarding more children that i think we have every right to wonder what may of happened. I think The Reason is that Celine is aware that she is turning 39 years old next month and she knowes she is taking a huge risk having another baby and i think she is just thinkin about all possibilities and i know she wants to make the right desision and doesn´t want to rush it like Britney Spears..

Many women have children around or even after the age of 40 and even though there is a bigger risk, with the current medical technologies everything is possible. And the risk wouldn't increase much wether you're 40,41 or 42.

Recently Céline said the reason for touring was that they wanted to show RC the world, René is 65 I am quite sure they are considering his age maybe he wants to tour one more time, who knows? My guess they will still try for that baby, but after the tour.

personally tho i was wondering about this too the other day too. it's a very swwet image i have in my mind of celine with another baby and me getting to see her happiness since by the time i became a fan rene charles was already like one (not that she isnt alawyas happy about her liitle prince).. but ive come to the conclusion that i really dont mind if celine has another baby or not. I think Rc is a very special little boy and he is very special to us and so i think of him as our little one and only. but if celine has a nother baby the baby will join that too then we will have to little special ones.... so what ever celine decides makes me happy. I don't think so... her vacation will be only 4 or 5 months after her Vegas trip and just after this she'll start her 2 years world tour.

She always talked about having a second child, so I was even more suprised two years ago when she extended her Las Vegas contract, because of her age.

 

I'm very happy that she will be go on tour in 2008, because I never had the chance to see her live in concert!! Rene-Charles has a private teacher, so Celine has not to take him out of school to go on tour.

 

In my opinion Celine has still a few years time to get a second baby, because there are so many woman and actresses (Marcia Cross (44), Gena Davis (48), Madonna (42)) who got there children in their early or late fourties!

so Celine has strong chances to make it, the only problem is that Rene is too old to have kids, i mean because he might not be around to see them grow, but that's the case with RC too so...

 

Celine cares about her carreer too and they know she must do the world tour now, if she gets pregnant she won't be able to tour for many years...(if she wants to be fair to her next child, she's RC had a stable for 6 (7 next year) years

I think that such a delicate subject would be hard for her to talk about right now...maybe she wanted another baby and then found out she couldn't have one from some sort of medical situation...and it's to painful to talk about right now...who knows or like many of you said, she came to the realization that Rene is getting older and that they should just focus on their love affair with their one and only child and with their fans. Actually, no journalist has asked her lately about another baby. I really don't think they can't have another. They can't know that until they try, have those fertility treatments again, and she didn't do that, cause that takes time and she had none. I'm sure they just decided to do the world tour now, cause if they don't, and have a baby instead, they'll be stuck for 3, 4 years. I mean, you cannot tour the world with an infant. I'm sure they'll have it after the tour, if they still want it .

HAHA but I'm really proud of Celine! I mean she's not only a singer but also a mother!! Not many successful female celebrities have children though! I was looking at Forbes 100 list. Mm Oprah and Mariah are still single.. Not criticize or what, but I think Celine's life is incredible! Not many downs in her life except for the early 80s. Proud of our Celine!

This is why I said this shouldn't be discussed. I don't doubt the good intentions of the original posters. We all worry about Celine's happiness. But somethings are really private.

Celine herself confessed that, for years, the press asked her about the baby she wanted to have and she used to say it was ok if she never had one but it wasn't ok, she suffered a lot about it. If she isn't talking about it than maybe it's because she doesn't want to share it anymore.
