Ok, so my trip date has changed. Not by much though. I'm leaving from Tennessee on November 28th. My AND tickets are for November 29th, and we will be out west until December 5th. We want to spend the first two or 3 nights in Vegas, but then go to California to Hollywood and Beverly Hills. I would also like to see Disneyland while we are there. I've only been to Disney World which I know is WAY bigger, but it's just the part of saying "I've been there" that I want. Does anyone know what else there is to do in Vegas or on the outskirts of Vegas that isn't just shows? I'm kind of curious about the Hoover Dam and things like that...how far is it to there from Vegas? We've even looked into hot air balloon rides...which I'm not sure if we will do, but it's a possiblity. Also, when booking a package...how do you book a package when your not staying in Vegas the whole time? I'm so confused on how to get this thing started. I need my plane ride to Vegas, but if we are staying in Cali till the end, will we HAVE to drive back to Vegas to catch a plane out or can they make it where you leave from LA? Thanks guys...for all your help and info!

Hey girl,

Hoover Dam is about an hour drive from Vegas. very easy to get to and there is free parking on the Arizon side of the border. in Nevada you have to pay....there is also some canyon aroud vegas that is cool to visit. there is always Grand Canyon ( i heard it is like an 8 hr drive one way).

i think you are right that you have to catch a plane back out of vegas. unless you buy one way tix to vegas and one way tix out of la but that is way more expensive than the roundtrip to vegas and back or to la and back.

So, yeah, we probably won't be going to the Grand Canyon. I don't like the idea of driving 8 hours there and 8 hours back! Definately Hoover Dam, though! Also, I will stick with the roundtrip tickets, because it's cheaper, and I don't feel like dealing with all the different arrangements anyways!! :angry2:

So as most of you know, I'm going to Vegas November 28th through December 3rd, and then from Vegas, we are going to be in California from December 3rd through December 7th! I am pretty much set on staying at Flamingo or Caesars Palace in Vegas, but when we get to LA I'm confused where to stay! Anyone know where there are some good but yet affordable places? We don't necessarily have to stay in LA...it could be Beverly Hills or right outside of Disneyland...which I thought about staying in Disneyland resort, but we don't want to go to Disney EVERY day, just a couple. There are other things I want to do! Also, while in Vegas, what else is there to do other than Celine's show...and Bellagio fountains and such? Give me some ideas! I want to get this thing planned and written down! I'm so excited about this trip, I cannot even sleep at night! Thanks guys for all your help, and Diana...I might be shacking up with you if I can't find somewhere I like in Cali LOL J/K! :mdr:

If you are around that week, that would be great, I'm already meeting one person from here...maybe we could all get together!! Oh how much fun this is going to be to finally be able to talk about Celine, and nothing BUT Celine with a group of friends!!!! :kicking: :w00t:

Diana...cheer up...everything will be ok! Us Celine fans have to STICK TOGETHER!! I know life sucks sometimes, but just pick up your head and everything will come together like a puzzle. Do you think Celine just ever wants a night off...don't you think that sometimes she wakes up and has a show that night, and just thinks to herself.."I would love to just stay home tonight"? Well, she kicks it into gear and just DOES IT!! And don't you EVER go through another Celine withdrawel again! Thats not fair to her! :msn-wink: I'm kidding, but seriously, cheer up...it's going to be ok! Loves ya girl! And Celine does too!

I LOOOVE David Copperfield. he is so handsome (i was a participant in one of his tricks - he chose me to have his baby on stage. lol. got to squeeze his #ss ad kiss him and yada yada yada).

Zumanity is good but they make fun of Celine:(

American Storm - a bunch of hot guys stripping is great ( nothing really exposed)

I saw Blue Man show and it SUCKED in my opinion. I also fell asleep during Le Reve (that was embarassing) and Mystere was OK.

oh my god. I hated blue man, too! I was so bored I couldn't wait to get out of there! Arrrrgh it just wasn't even funny. Luckily my ticket was comped (i'm taking this hotel entertainment class, and we get to go to a lot of shows..) or I would have killed! Where they sat me normally would have cost me $130 or something. After that show, I had even more appreciation for Celine and all the money I spend on her....haha. I'd rather pay $5000 for celine than $130 for that! A few blue guys giving each other funny looks and I'm supposed to bust up laughing? whatever - give me CELINE!! :P and don't even get me started about the whole 'toilet paper' thing at the end roughing up my hair and making it all static-y and gross!! lol.

sorry, i obviously have rage issues with, uh, blue man group :giggle:

Yea, lets not do The Blue Man group then...we hafta remember that my Mom will be with us, and she is VERY reserved! I mean, no cussing, or nakedness lol...I will leave her for one night though to do a couple of things! I'm interested in David Copperfield! How much is that?
