Promotion on POP french radio in Canada!

Hi everybody,

 

I write this message because here in Québec, we need your help! Since "Tout l'or des hommes", the POP radios stations don't play new song of Céline, it's very sad... I write one day a e-mail to the music departement, and they say BAD thing of Céline to me... she say she's now TO OLD to be played on their radios!

 

It's sad to see Pop station like NRJ in France played the new song.. and here, in Québec, her country, they don't!

 

I ask you to request the song on these 2 biggest POP french radios stations here in Québec!

OMG! what a bullshit! Celine is not to old, she is the same category like Gwen Stefany, J.Lo, Mariah etc... I think it is because that stations are horny on RnB and dance songs, it is very stupid , but i am afraid that this is a problem all over the world, cause many radios dont like Celine...

I wrote 'em all!!!! I sent 2 messages to radio Énergie and 2 messages to radio CKOI, both in French.

 

As the city I've chosen "Charlemagne" LOOOL!! :clap:

 

And stil use my orignal Polish e-mail address - why can I have an e-mail on a Polish free e-mail provider while living in Canada? I might be an emigrant from Poland or so... LOL!

 

Anyways, I hope it really brings something in these 2 radiostations and in many others we will be writing to!!!!

 

That really made me weird to read that Céline is apparently "too old"!!!!! :( What a holy crap!!!!!

 

Madonna is much older and they still play her all over the world - I guess not just because of her dance-style on her latest album!!!!...

The STUPID person who work in the music departement on CKOI worte me this morning ;

 

Ballade très rock, faudrait peut-être que tu l'écoutes comme il faut avec une certaine objectivité. Pour moi le rock se fait à la base au moins avec une guitare ou avec une certaine attitude rock. Sans enlever quoi que ce soit à Céline je ne crois pas que cette chanson soit une ballade très rock comme tu le prétends. Et en passant nous aussi on en a joué un extrait.

Well, me personally, I wouldn't classify this song as a rock ballad either... BUT I would love it to be played in as many radio stations as possible and of course Québec is the obviousest place for me where they should play this song!!!

 

Of course not all Québécoises have to like Céline BUT it should be played just from respect to her, just because she's the greatest "amabasadore" of Belle Province!

And I'm sure there are still a looooot of people who want to hear her and would really enjoy her new song in the mainstream radio stations!...

Omigod. People these days. Celine is not too old. They're so ageist... Her songs are absolutely magnifacent to the point of there being no words to describe how great they are. They just can't absorb the beauty. We're Celiney sponges while they're like... rubber. That's right, plain old rubber!
