It reflected what Celine was about at that time, putting herself up as a first class interpreter Pour que tu m'aimes encore was another good lead single that reflected the essence of her best album to date, the mixture of vulnerability and strength, of passion, soul, blues and everything else. Zora sourit wasn't a good song as a lead single, in my opinion, it wasn't really reflecting the essence of the album in the same way S'il suffisait d'aime did. It was a good song for itself, put as a single presenting an album, not that good a choice Tout l'or des hommes on the other hand, was again reflecting what 1 Fille 4 Types was about, easy pop stuff, nice little lyrics and forgettable radio tune melodies - just putting Celine together with four guys who had some fun making fun music. As far as S'il n'en restait qu'une is concerned, standing for itself, I've already said that elsewhere, this is a rememorable song with depth, one of those she stopped recording in French after SISDA (with maybe one or two exceptions). Looking at it as a lead single doesn't make much sense now, since we don't know yet how much it represents the album, and that's what a lead single is about, showing the best of an album, sell it to the audience. Is it the best of the album? That would be great! Is there better to come? That would be even greater Quote
