The brawny boys, who Dion insisted sit on either side of her in the front row, tried their hardest to fit in, asking people around them, "What should we do? Should we just look at the clothes?"

This can't be right because in the pics we saw she didn't have bodyguards on either side of her. So I wonder if they just made that up or maybe they weren't even Celine's bodyguards. I mean, why the heck would she need them so close INSIDE the show??? The tabloid press tends to blow things outta proportion to make a story interesting.

Unfortunately, fur is in at the moment. I'm not an advocate for the fur trade nor do I wear any fur. But I'm stating the obvious and the inevitable that many people who attend these fashion shows and many of these fashion houses produce clothing with real fur.

 

Why would she dare wear real fur to these fashion shows? Because other people are doing it too. Look at Ashley Olson, Anna Wintour, Michelle Williams, Melania Trump, Margherita Missoni, Olivia Palermo, etc...

 

PETA folks aren't going to go up to a person with fur, ask them politely if they are wearing real or fake... if you look rich or are a celebrity, immediately it's the impression that you're wearing it real (and more than less of the chances, it's REAL)... and maybe you will get red paint thrown at you. Plus, a person who believes strongly against the use of fur would not even wear faux fur, because I'm sure they would want to get rid of the idea of fur overall, instead of wanting to wear it and negotiating with principles.

I cant even begin to tell you how royally PISSED OFF I am!!  I work literally across the street from the tents at Bryant Park (where Fashion Week is held).  And I KNEW she would go to a show...I think I even wrote it in the other thread.

I believe the tabloids this time.

I'm sure they are there. Celine ALWAYS has bodyguards around her, even when she's at rehearsals at her show in Vegas; or when she's at the recording studio or at the beach. And when they mentioned that the fellows sit on either side of her, it does not mean they are directly next to her... they may be a few seats down - it looks better for pictures by the press... plus, Celine gets to sit next to some of her friends.

 

But I think the "What should we do? Should we just look at the clothes?" questions are classic!
