Celine's a dynamic performer, and she's so fun to watch because of her facial expressions, her body language, her gestures, her dancing and prancing, and just the way.. SHE MOVES!

 

Ana Gasteyer has commented on her dance moves when she entered the Divas Live stage with RDMH. And even this comment from YouTube that left me rolling :

Most of us like CD only because of her singing. That's the way she choose a long time ago to express herself, and that is why we like her. The rest is accessory. Why should we care about her dance moves? To be good at one thing is hard enough. Asking someone to be good at two things is almost an impossible achievement. The best example is Madonna: She's a very good dancer!

But to make one thing clear: It's very different to see it on TV then LIVE at the colesseum! I think she does it for her fans! Cuz you know every time she does that, her fans in the audience go crazy, we can't get enough of it. On television (or on your computer) it's much different, it's like "Ok Celine, enough is enough!" (not that I ever think that ) but when you are right there in front of her...omg! I love it, I want more of her dancing and prancing lol

I love it! She's so different from anybody out there. And remember her choreographer said she learnt the routines faster than the dancers themselves and that she was really really good at it? I don't know how fast she learnt but I think her dancing is totally awesome! I could watch her forever doing I Wish or I've Got the World On a String or dancing to Saturday Night Fever.

Unique...I love it when she goes for it- the kicks and the air guitar are the best. I think I've started dancing like her a bit...my fav was in Tout L'Hor des Hommes from La Soiree Exceptionelle when she was wearing those AMAZING heels, tight jeans and red jumper- blond hair and Garou...I loved it- you can tell she loves wearing heels...like in Hullaballoo

However, the human in me often wonders, "What is she thinking?!"

 

I find her quirks loveable, but I can't help but wonder what others are thinking. For example, at A New Day, there are many attendees of the show who know Celine merely as the voice on the radio. Many people at that show are not aware of her personality. So... I always find myself wondering what they're thinking at the show. Does this make them like her more? Less? Do they think she's insane? I do, but I love her anyway. It's funny how her dances and prances, facial expressions and funny things she says can make me roll my eyes and smile with near-infatuation at the same time.

When I am watching her move by myself, I think she is awesome. They're daggy but somehow, she makes it cool. However, when I'm watching it with others who aren't fans, I do kinda cringe. But she has tremendous energy and she's awesome whether she does it or not.

And her dancing... I guess she wouldn't be the complete Céline Dion we know without it! I remember seeing her for the first time live and saying: OMG, is she drunk?

But then I discovered it was all natural and now I just love it!

Why are you guys being mean?! She's actually a really good dancer. REAL dance! None of that Britney/Christina and co. aerobics... The way she dances to I Wish or I've Got the World on a String is like WOW! And she did a hell of good job dancing to Saturday Night fever during her LTAL tour. I saw Madonna dancing pretty much the same way and she didn't do it half as good as Celine, and Madonna is supposed to be a professional dancer, right.... She started her career by dancing, not singing.
