networkn Posted January 22, 2007 at 08:48 PM Posted January 22, 2007 at 08:48 PM Hi There! I am not sure if this is the right place, but after spending 5 days scouring the net for such, I am at my wits end. We are coming to Vegas from New Zealand first and foremost to see the Celine Dion concert, and I had imagined they would price the front 3 row tickets out of the reach to all but the dedicated fans, and that a ticket in the first 3 rows, would be obtainable. Turns out I was quite wrong. Obviously with traveling so far, we would really like the best seats we can get our hands on, which has led me here, hopeful someone might be able to offer some advice as to where to look. I see ticket master and the like use both ORCH4 and VIP4 to mean the centre block closest to the stage on the ground floor, but closest I can get in May, is about 8 rows back. Our dates are completely flexible, as our primary objective is good seats (I know they will all be quite good!) and we have yet to book airline tickets. Would anyone know where I might be able to find seats closer to the front 3 rows (my wife is quite short and will miss the show if someone tall is in front of her or if someone was unable to make their show for some reason, we would be interested in obtaining these. Any assistance would be MUCH appreciated! Quote
Scully Dion Posted January 23, 2007 at 06:09 AM Posted January 23, 2007 at 06:09 AM Row 8 sounds great. The stage is on a slant as is the seating, all designed so every seat in the house has a great view. Or you can try buying tickets on the day, sometimes seats within the first few rows become available. Teodora Posted January 23, 2007 at 09:36 AM Posted January 23, 2007 at 09:36 AM To get good seats you have to buy them the minute they're put on sale... And forget about AA seats, they're not sold on ticketmaster... Heard some people were able to find them at the box office right before the show, so maybe you'll get lucky. Quote

That is considered the Front Orchestra section, and you are paying the same for those seats. However, I gotta say... row 8 is very good. Also some backup singers and Andre is on that side....and who wouldn't want to see Andre up close But if you wanna enjoy the entire show at the best value, go with the FF in orch 4. Love, Posted January 26, 2007 at 12:37 AM Posted January 26, 2007 at 12:37 AM It's like this, y'all: If you get Orchestra seats, you wanna be as close as possible to the stage. If you get Orchestra Row NN, you might as well get a Rear Orchestra seat. Yes, Row 8 is might good! That's HH! However, if you really want to be close to Celine, the first three rows are THE BEST! Quote

But you can upgrade from Rear Ochestra or 1st or 2nd Mezzanine to Front Orchestra (or VIP ORCH) if they come available. I have been able to get first row tickets (AA) several times just a few hours before the show. So if you decide to go for the HH or BB tickets you can't upgrade. If you buy Rear Ochestra tickets you can try and upgrade to Front Ochestra while you are there. But there are NO guarantees. If you plan on seeing the show a second time, I would go for HH tickets and try for the second night in Las Vegas at the box office. Go there around 6 p.m. and keep coming back every 15 minutes or so and keep asking them for AA tickets! They reserve the first row tickets for the Casino high rollers and around 6 they become available.
