December 15th show not on Ticketmaster anymore?

I just went to Ticketmaster and the final show - December 15th - isn't listed on Ticketmaster anymore... anyone know what's going on?

i don´t know what´s going on with that website. i´m trying for weeks now to edit my account but it constantly says that i have to fill in my phone number even though i did. i sended several emails but they never answer.

about the tickets, the only thing i could find was this

Now why am I not surprised? There's going to be HUGE demand for tickets for the final show - and they're bound to keep back many tickets for "celebrities" etc.

 

Keep your fingers crossed. Maybe they've reserved all the tickets for the Fan Convention

I have no idea... but I want to know! I would hate to buy tickets for the 14th and then later have tickets available for the 15th. I can only afford ONE show, and I want to see the last!

I'm going to call the Box Office later today, just to see what they say. They don't open until 10:00 a.m., I believe... so I'll call then.

I called them a few weeks ago and they told me TC tickets go on sale for Aug - Dec on February 15th. So I don't know if they'll have accurate information, lol. But definitely try!

Well, Tal was right... the Box Office was useless when I called for information. (And kind of rude, actually).

 

I started with, "I was planning on seeing Celine Dion's 'A New Day...' in December..." and she blurted out, "March 1st."

 

So, I said, "Well, I'm a TeamCeline member and..." and she blurted out, "You can't buy them yet either."

 

I said, "I know that. I was planning on seeing the final show on December 15th and that date is no longer listed on Ticketmaster, and..." and she said, "That's because it's not on sale yet."

 

I told her, "Yes, but it was previously listed on Ticketmaster... but it is now gone. I just wanted to see if maybe the final date was changed. All other dates up until that date are still posted there." She then proceeded to tell me that it's not up simply because it's not on sale yet. Grr. I would love to figure this out soon, as I was planning on buying tickets for that show in like 9 days.

But they really have nothing to do with Ticketmaster, so I would call them and ask whats going on.

"TeamCeline members will be able to purchase tickets to the final show before the general public when they are released."

I'm sure notify you by E-mail when the tickets will go sale.

Oh I read it... don't get me wrong, I'm sure we'll have ample notice (hopefully)... I am just curious what date they are anticipating allowing us to buy them.

Yeah I got that same Team Celine message today and was not happy when it said the pre-sale tickets were only available to December 14th. I was planning everything around being ready to buy the December 15th tickets on February 1st. I'm sure it has to do with it being the final show and they have to plan for more than the usual amount of family and probably celebrities that will want to go to that show, so they may be buying time to figure out what block of tickets they will need for that. I'm assuming alot of the best seats and rows may not be available to us. I also have a feeling the may have some kind of auction for SOME good seats, like they did recently. At least it sounds like TC members will still be able to buy ahead of the general public. I'm just wondering WHEN they will go on sale. Will it be soon or months from now? I'll be happy to get any seat for this show since it should be amazing.

I was just going to post it!! Pity.. I wanted so badly to go to the last one.. But I'll be just perfectly glad if I just go to a show so, that doesn't really matter I guess...

A proof of "brains" from ticketmaster: I asked them the following question, before receiving the e-mail from Team Celine that explained everything:

 

I noticed that tickets for Celine Dion's "A New Day..." show in Las Vegas, for her last performance there, which was announced to be December 15th, are no longer available for purchase. I would like to know why that happened and if they will be put on sale again? I intend to buy tickets on for her last 4 shows there. I would really appreaciate an answer, as I want to buy my tickets on February 1th or February 15th.

 

And their incredible helpful answer was:

Thank you for your e-mail. Ticketmaster's main goal is simply to provide a computerized ticket distribution system. Ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of promoters, teams, bands and venues, which means Ticketmaster does not set the ticket prices or determine seating locations.

 

Tickets are generally sold through several distribution points, including online, Charge-by-Phone centers, ticket centers and box offices. All distribution points access the same ticketing system and inventory, therefore, tickets for popular events may sell out quickly. I sent it yesterday after seeing the post here, and I got the reply just before I posted it here... Long time for an automatic reply, I think...Anyway, if you need info, AVOID ticketmaster I don't like their system for buying tickets either. Even the movieplex I go to has a better one, where you can hand pick your seats.

OK, now it's all more clear after the TC mail... but...

 

...what's THIS about: you can buy the tickets for the last show by eBay - of course for an extremal amount of money... but I really wonder HOW can they sell tickets for the last show if they are not available yet?!
