thevoice Posted January 13, 2007 at 04:30 PM Posted January 13, 2007 at 04:30 PM great question that noone can really answer , only the people in sony the album sold 10 million copies only in the u.s. - can u even imagine how many copies this album could sell had they released more singles?same with ANDHC... they just dont care about their artists. celine had the commercial success she had thanks to herself and all the promotion she had to do because her record label just couldnt care less Quote

SuperLove4Celine Posted January 14, 2007 at 04:19 PM Posted January 14, 2007 at 04:19 PM (edited) "Tell Him" was actually sold as a CD single in the US, but it quickly got withdrawn. For what reason I have no clue, but my guess is probably because of either contract issues, or the song wasn't doing as well on the radio as people had hoped for. ...Joe... CSCfan Posted January 14, 2007 at 04:37 PM Posted January 14, 2007 at 04:37 PM but theese were not commercial singles. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Commercial single releases have been quite rare over the last years (at least for a decade), so it would make sense that there weren't many physical singles released in the US [during that time].. Guest Reuben Posted January 14, 2007 at 10:05 PM Posted January 14, 2007 at 10:05 PM (edited) there were many singles in the US except for my heart will go on. I remember hearing tell him several times and to love you more was big, however, it all drowns out compared to mhwgo. one reason could acctually be that the american public tried of hearing celine after mhwgo...it was seriously overplayed. I remember putting on the radio and flipping between radio stations I once heard mhwgo 10 times within an hour. Honestly, I was somewhat tired of Celine, I often skip my hear will go on when listening to lets talk about love. I moved to europe in the summer of 1998, I cant remember that there was a lot of promotion for immortality and the reason, infact I didnt know the reason was a single, and to love you more wasnt even released on the european version of ltal so it cant have been a single (or can it?). I can remember hearing it on the radio just before the release of thats the way it is though. Immortality was rather big as a single. Edited January 14, 2007 at 10:12 PM by Reuben Quote

I tend to do the same thing at times. Anyway, there's another song from LTAL that was released as a commercial single. "Be The Man (On This Night)" It was released as a 3" single in Japan. Here's a scan of it. http://www.mattscdsingles.com/acatalog/23235new%20scan.jpg It came with the English, Japanese, and Instrumental versions to the song. ...Joe...
