Stopping The Show.

<span style='color:orange'> If it were up for us to decide, do you think it would be better for Celine to stop the show right now? Just take off for awhile? I've seen alot of topics on the forum talking about how Celine's voice has changed ever since she's started the Vegas gig, jumpin' around and singing all in one. To add to all the jumping, I also blame the Vegas climate.

If it were up to me to decide where she should've set up her gimungo stage, I'd choose somewhere like... New York or... Toronto... or somewhere near the border of the States and Canada. It's not too hot, or too cold. She could really hit it off.

Or perhaps, she could go on tour. Not a mega tour but something easy-going. Like limiting it to within North America. She could make it a year's plan and do the U.S. first, choose several states and several cities in that state to perform in. Then she could come on up to Canada and, because there are only so many provinces here, she could go to all of them, perform in 2 to 3 different locations within the provinces. And, you know, maybe... JUST MAYBE she'll go to Mexico!

But, she should probably take a long break before she begins that little continential tour. Maybe 10 months off or something... and then she's gonna go big! :clap:

It would be fun... At least, I would think so. :kicking:

Anyway... that was just some stuff that's been rolling around in my head for the past two days. Just thought I'd share it with everyone. Tell me what you think. :xmas_happy: Or what you don't think... Or some of your own ideas :xmas_tongue: </span>

My ideas. ERIKA'S IDEAS. They've got a twist if you ask me about it. This is more about imagination than it is about prediction :xmasnaughty: :giggle: It's about going wild with things. It's the fan fantasy Celine show with feathers flying everywhere... or something along those lines. I only talked about the location. It won't be long before I start talking about how the theatre would look like

Well, like she's proven with her fantastic rendition of "Summertime", her voice is definately still fantastic (she just holds back in Vegas)! So I have all the faith in the world in Céline..

I definitely agree strongly with u!!!many times i have though to write a similar thread to the forum but i had a fear that u will blame me!!!!!yes i want to stop now the vegas show!its enough for her!!!what does she want?to destroy her voice?all she needs is a big rest for some months and then to return to the show business more powerful and finally[i cant wait!!!!!!!!] to start the mega tour :clap:

well celine should never base in one place again...maybe when she is 60... :msn-tongue:

it's not really relevant to talk about theoretical stuff while we already know that she will tour in 2008...we can talk about our wishes regarding the tour , the songs , the places she'll visit but the fact is - celine is gonna tour the world again , she is finally out of vegas , she is not going to get stucked somewhere else...

it's not really relevant to talk about theoretical stuff while we already know that she will tour in 2008...we can talk about our wishes regarding the tour , the songs , the places she'll visit but the fact is - celine is gonna tour the world again , she is finally out of vegas , she is not going to get stucked somewhere else...

Naahhh. Although... maybe I had too much cream cheese earlier :mdr:

But honestly... Any fantasies of what everything would be like?

To me... a Colesseum would soooo not kick it off in Toronto or New York... But you know... Maybe a huge dome or something would be cool. Toronto already has a dome, but surely, after the Celine dome is built, the other dome's gonna wanna sink underground :giggle:

Well I think at this point I really don't think it would make a difference if she stopped her show early, since it's the last year. I don't understand why people seem to think her voice has changed or gotten worse since she's been in Las Vegas. I never saw Celine pre LV so I guess I have nothing to compare it to but I have seen her in LV three times and I thought she sounded great. Even though the dry LV climate is definitely not good for a singers voice remember she does have her stage humidified when she is performing. If you look at her schedule for the past few years she has alot of built in breaks anyways.

Now it's too late.. She have to finish, it will make a very good publicity for Celine, this contract is so good for her career.. She almost finish, she have to finish the contract.. Her voice have bad days, but she have her great days, just remember Summertime and the promo in France in october!

I loved the Las Vegas contract! I think it was a good choice! It gave the opportunity for Celine to be based and live a life where she can be happy with her family and with her career, she is getting the best of both worlds. I'm not saying she should do this again (well maybe when she is older hehe) but I think it is good for what it is. Because of it, I was able to see my fave singer perform live.

In the long term the Las Vegas contract will be remembered for years to come. Almost every single music star that goes to Vegas now for a long period of time will be compared to Celine. Celine's in a win win situation. Her show has been a commercial success, so much so that Caesars wanted her to extend it, and this year especially will see more and more publicity drawn to A New Day... The final week in December will gather unbelievable publicity as the press report on the gamble that well and truly paid off.

Well, I'm saying North America because this is where most of her houses and pretty much all of her family is. And she MIGHT not want to travel overseas as much anymore. But, that's really her decision. Don't take me the wrong way, I'm just saying. :flowers:
