I was wondering what does celine dione mean? well,you know every body's name

should have a meaning . So can you help me about this.

let's start to call her "celine dion" first! and not dione

her full name is Celine Marie Claudette Dion (as everybody knows) it's not a nickname. I dont think all the names have a meaning it depens on where someone comes from,a question of culture!

Celino and Celio doesnt not exist in italian this site where u took it it sounds very fake Celio/Celia sounds more spanish or portuguese like Celia Cruz etc etc

I thought about that too, and as I was curious about it I started searching deeper, but in my own language (Portuguese), and the results were the same... And about the origin of the name it may be really wrong, but the meanings are all the same in many sites...

 

The only different thing I found about it is that Celine was a Godess or something and she was transformed in diamond because she accused Jupiter of being mortal...

Ya, I would do that too, because it's the only girl name i really really love (I have David saved in case I'll have a boy ) Unfortunately it doesn't work, cause it doesn't sound even remotely Romanian and all the other kids would mock her because of that...But if I have the kid with a French or English native..... And yes, Celine does mean heaven.
