But I dont think Caesars has seen the last of Celine she will FOR SURe have another show again years from now...and if she wants back and Bette is still there they would kick Bette out un a instant and but Celine back in there...Lets face it Bette is going to flop

i love the girl... but i think it would be a bit much (i'll take the free cheesecake, though! )

 

however! if she comes back to vegas for a while later on in life, etc.... i think she should get a street like frank sinatra, dean martin, jerry lewis... I drive them every day and think about how beautiful it would look if someday one said "CELINE DION"..haha.

 

I just want to build a house and spend my retirement on "celine dion way"

It's not much at all. It's the least they can do for Celine.

 

There are people who build arts centers, theatres, and cultural centers around the world and have things named after themselves. This is a $100 million Colosseum. The dividends that Vegas is continuously yielding after Celine's arrival is billions of dollars. Just Harrah's alone made so many major financial progress. The Augustus Tower was built because of Celine.

 

CELINE - She is the reason Vegas is the way it is today. She brought higher level of entertainment. She brought prosperity. She brought investors. Her voice and her heart will always go on in Vegas.

I think it would be a lovely idea to re-name the Colliseum in some way to connect Celine but I cannot see it happening just yet .....As has been said it could intimidate some artists wanting to perform there once Celine leaves and I am sure Celine and Rene would understand that.

 

However I do think it would be great if Vegas came up with a "Celine Dion Boulevard" or short of that Caesers named a section of the Forum Shops "Celine Dion Avenue" ( a section with lots of shoe shops in maybe ) in recognition of what Celine has brought to the town and Caesers over tha past 5 years. If they use the Forum shops area maybe the Celine Boutique could stay open and move to that same area, as I feel they will probably use the current Boutique to merchandise future long term Artists as they come in.

 

Who knows maybe in ten years or so Celine may decide to do another big show in Vegas and return to the Colliseum that may be the time to think or renaming it "Colliseum de Celine".
