celinerific Posted December 31, 2006 at 04:03 AM Posted December 31, 2006 at 04:03 AM Just last night while my sister was making dinner, the electricity went out in certain parts of Toronto. So, that led us to having cold food and iced tea... It was interesting eating by complete candlelight, but it got frustrating when we... I decided to walk around. I can't even remember how many freaking walls I ran into trying to find more candles. The power went out when it was darkest of the day... I'd say around 8 PM... It was fine after dinner though. I lit all of the candles in my room, it was absolutely beautiful. My sister and I, after she put Mika to sleep, played Othello (or also known as Reversi) for awhile and then we got kinda cold... then it got really cold. And then we went to sleep, and everything was fine the nexty morning. This incident reminded me of two things. 1. Monica and Chandler's proposal (from Friends)2. The "great" Ontario Blackout in 2003 that lasted about three days. It was fun. But our milk was nasty... I think I speak for a lot of people when I say blackouts are fun. You actually get to spend time with the three-dimensional people Quote http://i58.tinypic.com/2qbub9c.png @ErikaTran | Insta: aireexwp | erikatran.com

Koolan Posted December 31, 2006 at 05:37 AM Posted December 31, 2006 at 05:37 AM Ahh, the memories of the NYC blackout some 3-4 years ago. I was stuck in the subway for over 1 hour. Thankfully, I had my bike Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.

I can't do anything except sleeping. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We wanted to sleep, but it just seemed too early. So we walked around, trying to busy ourselves, and my sister ended up getting blobs of red candle wax all over the hallway floor and she had to go to the kitchen and get a butter knife to clean it up. It looked like blood, and with her and the knife, you can't go wrong when the police come Quote http://i58.tinypic.com/2qbub9c.png @ErikaTran | Insta: aireexwp | erikatran.com
Koolan Posted January 2, 2007 at 04:47 AM Posted January 2, 2007 at 04:47 AM yeah, lmao I went biking in another borough and had to take the subway back. It was kinda funny seeing how everyone got to know each other there. Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.
