Celine and her catch phrases.

I've noticed that there are some things that Celine enjoys saying quite often, especially in interviews. The one that really pokes out at me is,

 

"The truth is, I've never really left Canada and I never will. That is where my roots are."

 

Right there, that little thing there creates this weird picture in my head every time I think of it or whenever she says it. It always makes my mind picture beautilful little Celine, and then disturbingly, instead of legs she has tree roots which are planted in Quebec, and she's stretched all over the place

So, for example, she's in Vegas now, I can picture the roots fixated in Quebec and then it stretches all the way to Vegas in the States... like a really long tree, except for the fact that only her legs are "tree-like" the rest of her is fine.

I don't know about you guys, but even though it might just be me thinking this way, but I find it really scary to think about. I'm not gonna think about it anymore right now... or ever But it's hard...

 

Soooooo, enough of my creepy little imagination. Has anything like that occured to any of you? Or something similar to that?

I know what it actually means. It's just, that's what the phrase makes me think of, in a more literal sense. Have some sense of humour! Just thought I'd share my thoughts with everyone Edited December 30, 2006 at 09:17 PM by celinerific
