What celine song or perfomance would you show off to your friends...

 

i'm sure most of us have done this..to show others the WOW factor of celine

 

my choice is deffinately 'All By Myself' at the Billboards. whenever i play this performance infront of someone who hasn't seen it, it gets such a reaction.

 

No-one can deny that this perfomance is breath-taking! even to the non celine fan.

 

What is your choice and what kind of reactions do you get?

As silly as it sounds...I always show to my friends Celine singing the phonebook... They always laugh like mad and then they go like: wow, she can sing everything so beautifuly.

 

It shows them the real goofy and funny lady Celine is while singing so nicely. It always works.

I always show off things they don't expect. Almost everybody that's not a fan only knows about her ballads. So I let them know about her up tempo songs, or genres they don't know she ever sang, like her rock songs, rock'n'roll or jazz. And always I include French songs, because most people know her English work. They're all impressed, even if they don't become fans, they addmit they judged her well too quickly and they start respecting her talent. I even have one friend (my best friend actually) that didn't like Celine at all when I first met her...she's a die hard heavy metal fan. And I made her listen to some songs every now and then...and at one point she comes to me: "Teo, I really like Sous le Vent, I just heard it the other day on the radio"...and I was like "WTF, you?" I think I would show some clips from a concert that I have on videotape..I bought it a long time ago, I think it's The Colour of My Love live..I haven't seen it in a while, I really should..but song wise..I Want You To Need Me, perhaps.
