更多关于新法语专辑 “D’elles” 的消息：

1. 其中的三个女作家是：Nina Bouraoui, Christine Orban and Françoise Dorin。其中 Françoise Dorin 和 Christine Orba 各写了两首。

 

2. 第一支单曲的名字是 “Et s'il n'en restait qu'une...” 由 Françoise Dorin 作词，David Gategno 作曲。“Et s'il n'en restait qu'une...” 意思是“如果只剩下一个（女人）”。

 

3. Françoise Dorin 作词的第二支歌曲是 "A cause"（因为），由 Jacques Veneruso 作曲。

 

4. Jean-Jacques Goldman 只是监制，并未参与作曲。

 

 

Music: Céline Dion interprets their lyrics

 

Françoise Dorin , Christine Orban and Nina Bouraoui belong to the group of female writers that were asked by the Quebec star to write for her upcoming album “D’elles”, which is due to come out in May this year.

 

This album is like no other CDs that have the Céline Dion signature upon them. The singer records in the end a concept album positioned amidst female book writers, named “D’elles”. The singer asked numerous book writers from Quebec and France to write for her.

 

Among them are Nina Bouraoui, Christine Orban and Françoise Dorin.

“When I was called concerning this project, which happened before summer, I believed it was a joke.” – remembers F.Dorin. “There were many radio rumors cruising around back then… Then the editor contacted me and tried to convince me. We were friends. That’s why I believed it this time.” F.Dorin who first started off as a songwriter (notably known for her hit “Que c'est triste Venise” written for Charles Aznavour) came back to her beginnings unexpectedly.

 

Céline Dion slated for a comeback onto the French scene probably in 2008

“I didn’t know Céline Dion’s music.” – the 77 years old Dorin admits. “I knew the star that she was, most notably for her concert on Stade De France where I was flabbergasted by her voice and the ease with which she commanded the enormous stage.” Dorin gave away two songs written “very long ago but never ever released.” The first one titled “Et s'il n'en restait qu'une” ("And if there remained only one (woman)...") has been arranged by David Gategno, producer known for his work with Tina Arena. This song may end up as first single off the album. The second one “A cause” has been arranged by Jacques FREAKING Veneruso who already worked with Céline Dion in the past.

 

‘“Et s'il n'en restait qu'une” talks about a woman ready to accept all the outdated clichés about love: the romantic shiny silver moon, the letters… - Dorin tells us. She says: I accept being ridiculous if that’s the price of love. ‘A cause’ evokes an evolution of feelings/emotions. One loves ‘because of’ useful things, and today, because of ‘affronting ourselves’.

 

Christina Orban albeit less talkative, wrote also two songs but prefers to stay discrete. “I accepted because Céline Dion is an admirable singer and an extraordinary voice” – she explains. I like her simplicity, her honesty, her authenticity. I couldn’t have written for someone towards whom I feel adrift.”

 

The main producer of the album remains Jean-Jacques Goldman who this time hasn’t written any songs for Dion. The title of the album is a little hint towards their multiplatinum 1995’s release “D’eux” which contained the hits “Pour Que Tu M’aimes Encore” or “J’irais ou t’iras”.

 

The release date for the new album is set to May, before Dion comes back to France in 2008 for a tournee. Till then Céline Dion will be in Vegas with her show “A New Day” which has been already seen by more than 2,5 million spectators.

Celine Dion's New Album 'D'elles' - To Be Released in May 2007

 

 

Celine Dion is currently working on a new French-language album, which is scheduled to be released in France and other French speaking countries in May 2007.

 

This new album is a concept project in that all the song lyrics have been written by female writers from France and Quebec. There are many collaborators: Françoise Dorin, Christine Orban, Nina Bouraoui, Marie Laberge, Lise Payette, Denise Bombardier, Nathalie Nechtschein, Janette Bertrand... The themes throughout this album, titled 'D'elles,' centre around 'Woman.'

 

Many of Celine's long-time friends and collaborators, including Jean-Jacques Goldman, participated in this project. Although Goldman did not write any of the songs for this album, he supervised the project and arranged the song lyrics.

 

Music composers include Jacques Veneruso, David Gategno, Erick Benzi and Gildas Arzel.

 

The first single "S'il n'en restait qu'une (je serais celle-là)," written by Françoise Dorin, will be released on February 14 in France.
