Going to Vegas June 11-15, 2007

MY REVIEW IS IN!

 

I've given myself about a week of rest before i started typing this thing out! First thing: When they say that some changes have been made to the show, ALOT of changes have been made- Costumes, Coreography, Screen Projections, Lighting... Second thing: Celine was in TOP SHAPE for this show and I had the time of my life!!! I yelled, I screamed "I LOVE YOU CELINE", I did the IDAN dance, I danced during IA, LCMM, and RDMH!!!! I was in heaven!

 

The pre-show camera zoom-in was hillarious! The cameraman zoomed in on a guy who was wearing his cowboy hat and dressed in cowboy atire. Alot of people got embarrased when they saw they were on the screen, so it was pretty funny. People were pointing at the person next to them, and the cameraman followed along!!

Then, the moment I had waited for: the sound of shattering glass and "A New Day..."!! I think I actually felt the theater shake because we were yelling so loud (or was that just me?!) Celine looked amazing in her royal blue outfit and real cute with the bowtie (though it is odd!). "The whispers in the morning" were hardly out of her lips when the theater erupted in applause (or was that me again!) She got a standing ovation from the first row after she hit the long note at the end. Normal reaction for IACBTMN but a nice reaction for BYLM. Note: The clouds for TLYM come in when Celine starts to sing the final "Because you loved me". TLYM was awesome, as always. The crowd erupted (really) after TLYM and Celine gave her opening speech, asking us if we felt good (we yelled really loud!) and said she could tell. So cute! "Shall we go for it?" YEAH!!!! IA was the best ever because I stood up, stood my ground, and clapped for the ENTIRE SONG!!! The people behind me were so nice, they actually enjoyed seeing me have fun! IDAN! Spectatular! I did the IDAN steering wheel move a couple of times and when Celine goes on the lift thing, I think she pointed at me when I did it! (AHHHH!) Seduces me was hot hot hot! The intro was pretty cool too! IIC! I got a little teary eyed, but don't we all!? PQTME was very nice, with the flying picture frames. And the look Celine gives the camera at the end, priceless. I SURRENDER TO "I SURRENDER"!!! OMG! The best performance of IS I have ever seen. She held the note at the end for at least half a minute. At the end, my mom gave me that "HOLY S**T" look. It was awesome!! AA was nice. I had never seen "All the Way" performed live, so I was really excited, and Celine did not dissapoint. IGTWOAS was wonderful as always. "I Wish" lost the city visualization for a visualization of the camera looking at the orange lights! Whatever. The performance was still good, as usual. The "fans" were hillarious! LCMM! So uplifting. I stood up for the entire song and into RDMH which I almost fainted from seeing the silver dress in person! CELINE IS HOT HOT HOT!!!! Then comes the part of the show I will never forget: MHWGO! (OFF TOPIC: A couple of years ago, I lost a good friend of mine when he was killed in a car crash with a drunk driver, and last year at my church camp, I dedicated MHWGO to him! I got a standing ovation when I was finished!) Well, those feelings had time to well up, and the flood gates opened! I BAWLED through this song. Celine gave the rose to the wife of the guy who had the cowboy hat. Celine put it on after she gave him a hug! It was so funny (only I couldn't laugh because I was crying so hard!) I feel that, I have been selfish, a lyer, and undependable to you-Emilie... I was in the greek god pool, the time we were supposed to meet in front of Celien's shop. I was tellling myself... U need to get out of this pool, dry off, and head on over to Caesars Palace, to meet up with Emilie-at 3:00. I was supposed 2, but I guess, I was enjoying myself, way to much in the pool, and just forgot... About our time to meet up. I'm sorry, and I know we had this meet up all planned out. I will make it up to you-Emilie! I promise. Next year. We willl meet to see Celine, in the city of our choice, preferably in Chicago, IL. Which is in the U.S. Are u up for doing that. The dates, for her tour, should be confirmed and posted, later this year. For U.S. dates, I mean...

 

Again, I apologize for forgetting and not going to our meet up... It's totally my fault. And as I said, I will make it up to you.

Hello everyone!! I know I disappeared after the Vegas trip! Wow, many things happened to me for the past 2 months. It's my first time I've been to USA and first time seeing Celine live in Vegas! I will never forget this memory. I can still remember the outstanding performance of A new day has come song at the beginning of the show. After coming back from Vegas, I received my results and now I graduated!!!!!! I was working part time for 2 weeks before my graduation. After my graduation, I went travelling again!! After coming back for a week, I tried to settle down. Time for job hunting now!! But I'm back now!!!! Hope everyone's alright.

 

Wow lilyrose, if the next time I go to Paris, will you bring me around? I went there during my birthday. Disneyland Paris hehe..

It would be great to have a person who can speak French when travelling in Paris.

 

Anyways, I will catch up with you guys later, hope we can be friends forever!!

Me meeting Michel Dion!!!! He was so nice! We talked for about 5 minutes and then he asked if I had a camera so we could take a picture. When he asked me this, I screamed "YES I HAVE A CAMERA!" really really fast then yelled at my mom to take the picture!!!!
