"Celine Dion Perfume" Walgreens Xmas commercial

Oh my gosh Celine!

WHY OH WHY, WALGREEN????

 

To be quite honest, it's so sad when I'm passing by the Macy's Christmas windows and I could see giant displays of photographs of stars and their perfumes: Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hilary Duff, Paris Hilton, Kimora Lee Simons, etc...... and no Celine.

 

I know it was nice that Celine and Coty released Celine's perfume at JCPenney when they released her first perfume. I was expecting them to go on and more perfumes that would actually be in a higher-end store; maybe not luxury, but at least higher... but unfortunately no.

 

And Now she's doing WALGREEN?!?

That is a regular drug store, and is comparable to a K-Mart (which is between a Walmart and a Target) LOL @ my fellow Americans who know what I'm talking about.

Shame on Coty!  :sick:

 

c'mon, it can't be that bad! :P Wal-mart used to be my favorite store, until I started to make a little more money hehe. But I still enjoy shopping there, and I always go to Walgreens since it is right next to where I live. Maybe her products are not sold in higher end stores due to the fact that a majority of her fans aren't higher end shoppers??? Just an assumption. And by this statement I am referring to my "middle class" self :D

 

Alanna, the funny thing is... Walgreen is my emergency store! :mdr: :mdr:

I normally find myself there on holidays such as Christmas when I need batteries. :mdr: :mdr: And there have been many instances where I've used Walgreen pharmacy because the pharmacists there are just so nice! :mdr:

 

Yes I do give Walgreen credit!

Don't get me started on Walmart... :mdr: :mdr:

I must say though... some of the nicest customer service reps I've ever spoken to worked for Walmart. :bye1:

 

hehe. yeah, I think Target is more nicer inside though...And you know, Walgreens is kind of expensive in comparison to Wal-Mart! lol

I was watching the beggining of the video, and her voice was so beautiful, I was thinking about the song, the voice etc, and then suddenly I see Celine under that tree, with that dress! :P OMG!!!! Freaked out... :clap: :kicking:

I haven't seen it on TV yet, but a friend of mine called me yesterday afternoon while she watching Dr. Phil (she's obsessed!) and said she was calling because she saw a commercial with Celine under a christmas tree and thought of me! :) I love it when people think of me when they see Celine!!

You could rewind to that part then press record ;)

Okay guys, so I just got back from the gym, and it was very exciting, lol! I was going into the locker room, and I heard "O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree" and I think I got a little excited! There was another woman in the locker room, so I couldn't make it too obvious, but I was excited! I finally saw the commercial, my timing was perfect and what a great way to start off my workout! :clap: :clap:

I'm a twin mommy just like Celine!

Wow I can't wait to see this! Does she mention the name of the drugstore in the commercial? I'm assuming that she does not. I would think that her perfume would be sold in higher end retailers, because I was not sure if it was that reasonably priced. I guess it's good that she can sell it like this and it gets more exposure being in so many of those drugstores.

You could rewind to that part then press record ;)

 

You have to be on the channel to rewind or record... :down: And I wasn't even at the TV that's hooked up to TiVo. Argh. :pinch: BTW, now that Angela mentions it, I was watching Dr. Phil too! Let's all record Dr. Phil, maybe we'll catch it, lol.
