Céline should release the 5 Xmas songs in 2008...

IF CSCfan is right and she is releasing her album in November 2007 then I think she should DEFINITELY release the 5 new recorded David Foster Xmas tracks as B-side to her new English album - just for a limited time, just for Xmas. Otherwise the album would be sold without the Xmas bonus CD.

 

That would be nice I thought.

YES a special version! One with a bonus disk that has the extra xmas songs on it...that way, it will promote additional sales of the TAST album, while still giving us fans something new! Oh one can only hope!

I'd love a new Christmas album! There's a lot of traditional songs she hasn't recorded and there's always new ones to be written as well! I listen to TAST all year long and I'd listen to another Christmas cd all year as well.

I love the idea of an extended version of TAST. Great idea! Maybe, if they do a second disc with it, they could have it as a DVD as well with some Christmas footage of Celine and her family. But, if not, then I think they should simply add the tracks to the same CD(cheaper).

 

Anyway.....if this doesn't happen, then I think she should simply wait and release a new Christmas album a couple years from now. Once she's back in the public eye and has had some hits on the radio again.

The problem with that is...only us fans would buy it. If anything will happen, it will happen once she's had another hit.

When did she record those songs? In 2004? I think it would be a good idea if they released them, but I'd rather expect them to release 50 more compilations with her 80ies hits before that happens.

 

About the CBS special, I think it would be up to CBS. They could easily make a collectors box with the special of TAST, ATW and ANDHC on DVD. I wonder why they've never thought about it.

 

However, I don't think it would be a good idea to release those songs together with the new album. We'd have a new album in English, and French, and the DVD - and then the Christmas CD/EP - that is too much at the same time in my opinion.

i think this is an amazing idea. celines voice is showcased to its amazing ability's on christmas songs. ignore siur what does he/she know i mean look at the naf naf wigs...heehee.

celines new album should have an amazing extra to it but something more like lara fabian did a dvd with it with videos to every song. a kind of story album lol

but then do a new xmas album maybe like a duet xmas album.

I just want to note that Josh Groban released live version of one of the Xmas songs recently, as his new Xmas single. Without having an Xmas CD at all.

 

This was one of the songs he recorded with David Foster for his Xmas CD. Céline recorded her 5 songs around the same time. Also with David.

i want only new album with only new tracks... but it could be in 1998...

and it's quite possible... think... that in 1997 it was LTAL now in 2007 (ten years later) another english albu, then SSID it's almost conceited with french album in 2007... then world tour.. .the same! 1998/9 with two albums (english and french) and in 2008/9 exactly ten years after again world tour! and christmas album is possible for me....
