Where have you stayed in Vegas?

I`m going to Flamingo for 8 night and 9 days though I`m staying in the standard room has anyone ever been in the standard room at Flamingo is it good?

I've stayed in Caesars, Stratosphere, Flamingos, Hilton, Howard Johnson Inn, America's Best Value Inn, and even Sin City Youth Hostel!

 

My absolute favourite of them all is Flamingos. The price is usually very reasonable, location is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I've read from net, the Flamingos is the best choice to book a room.

I've been to Vegas twice and stayed at the MGM Grand both times. The hotel/casino is huge, but once you find your way around, it's pretty easy to navigate. The prices are pretty good for what you get. I've stayed in the Grand Tower rooms and their location is very central, so you're close to everything. It's very clean and the rooms are a decent size. The pools are great, especially in the morning when they first open. I'll probably stay there again when I go in May unless I can get a good deal @ Caesars.

Hey everyone don't try to book a room at the Stardust hotel on the strip anytime soon, they just imploded it a few days ago! I'm sure some of you have seen the video. I guess they are not going to build another Stardust, but some bigger resort hotel.

in january I stayed at the Aladdin Resort ... pretty nice place ... but I got the employee rate ... and I already booked for December there too ... its not far from Ceasars ... and a little walk does you some good ...

I saw that! The funny thing is I was there the day they shut it down, turned down the lights! They're going to build a huge resort there, I read it some place. It sounded really grand.

Most people say the Hotel is OK but a little distance from the Colosseum.

The regular rooms at Caesars aren't so great. We had a horrible room, with a view of a wall. It was clean and everything, but it wasn't particularly nice. A day or two into our stay, the room next door had a pipe burst and they ended up moving us to a Palace Tower room. What a difference!! The Palace Tower rooms are gorgeous, but much more expensive!

We stayed at The Luxor in March. The only issue I really had was that it's a little father down the strip then I wanted to be. Our room was on the 28th floor, and we had a fabulous view of the strip, and the room was HUGE. It had a hot tub in the window overlooking the strip. The buffet wasn't very good the one morning we ate there, but the service was great and the room was nice.

 

When I go back in June we're staying at the Mirage.

I stayed @ Ceasers palace it was great we got a upgrade when we got there we stayed in the Augusta tower we had a great room 10/10 for cleanness and the Alladin.

Only a walk across the street to Caesars. I would probably stay there again, for that reason only. The rooms were average, and the elevators were ALWAYS kinda full, but it was totally worth it.

The stratosphere has amazingly low rates, however it is at the north end of the strip, a fair distance away from Caesars. Rooms were clean. There are some fun places to eat there, make sure you check out the diner with the singing waiters/resses. Remember to keep your coupon booklet with you that you'll get in your room, get money off quite a few things within the casino, and of course you are entitled complimentary access to the tower if you are a guest there. Enjoy!

No mentions of Harrah's yet? I stayed there in February and a couple of years ago as well. Both times to see Celine and right across the street from Caesars. I found the rooms fine and the casino had friendly people at every table. I'm staying at Imperial Palace in Sept (once again to see CD - twice!). Unfortunately, after I had booked it for convenience and cost, I stumbled across dozens and dozens of bad compalints about it.. Oh well, I'm not there for the room, right? me also going in september in imperial palace hotel. tank for the explication. and is just en face the cesar palace. i stayed a room with jaccuzzi ( is a true jacuzzi?).

So, when I went to Vegas in April I stayed at the Circus Circus in one of their manor rooms:

Cleanliness 9/10

Comfort 8/10

Service 7/10

Value for money 8/10

 

I have to say, as a place to sleep and recover from sight seeing, it was ideal, but not particularly luxurious. The location was not too bad as we used the deuce buses and could get to all the places we needed to from the stop right outside the hotel.

 

Now guys, feel free to rate your rooms!

By the way, I don't think I've ever seen so many kids as I've seen at Circus Circus Celine would go crazy in there, as much as she loves children But if I ever get to go to Vegas again, I will choose Caesar's Palace. The prices were just a little higher than Circus Circus (I'm talking about the cheapest rooms). Overall, I think I'll give Circus Circus an 7.50 - 8 ).

It's rather far. I stayed there when I went to Vegas. It's a nice hotel, it's full of kids. I swear I have never seen so many kids in one place And it's cheap too. On the other hand, it takes about half an hour to get to Caesar's by bus... And about the same if you walk really really fast there. Which I did a few times, but I don't recommend it, if the show is about to begin...
