Is Celine wasting the talented people around ???

Celine´s team has unappreciated people they had sucessfully around through the time...

 

Maybe situations like this between Celine and Diane Warren could not be good for both of them... and I see some fans have hated her(Diane), but I thinks she´s still able to produce hits and good songs....

 

For instance, see Carrie Underwood´s album it has some great songs from Diane, and I think thay all Would have fit perfectly to Celine´s coming album...

Could I ask, where is Mr Foster, or W. Afanassief , John Doelp, Jim Steinman, Corey heart, Billy Pace, Rick Wake, Aldo Nova, Andy Hill ...

 

Mr Foster has done so well in Andrea Bocelli´s and Mr Groban Albums

 

So many people replaced by Swedish and Europe and Unknown Writters, producers.... etc... and many others ...

 

And YES I WANT THE USUAL CELINE´S SIGNATURE BACK AS A MARK IN EVERY ALBUM

I see your point about this. Celine definitely has had great writers and producers in the past, but it unfortunately has not always created great albums, even though other artists may have current success with the same writers. producers, etc. It will be interesting to see who her next producer and writers will be for the new english album. On the "On ne change pas" DVD there is a great behind the scenes interview (sort of) for the making of the "Je nev vous oublie pas" video. There are some parts where she describes different albums, and she was talking about how she really enjoyed the "1 fille 4 types" album because some of it was more "edgy"(her words). I wish she would try to make her English album like this but I don't know if that will happen.

 

It's difficult for anyone to make a good album, even if you have great people to work with. Obviously Celine has the talent.

 

By the way if you ever get the chance, watch that behind the scenes video I just mentioned. It's great because Celine is very relaxed and funny. I think it's one one my favorite clips to watch because you see her being herself.

It could also be due to a couple other factors.

 

1) Contractual issues. Just because Diane Warren is amazing doesn't mean that her songs are going to fill every Celine album (even though they should.) Just like with "Is Nothing Sacred," Rene or others affiliated with the album making process (won't mention Sony's name here at all :whistles:) may want to buy the rights to the entire song at what the lyricist believes is a low price. Therefore, causing negotiations and recordings to fall through.

 

2) Celine and/or Rene may just want to be trying new things at this point in her/their lives.

 

3) And of course there's the possibility of both of the above mentioned being the issue.

Diane Warren talented?! I beg your pardon! That witch has written some of most syrupy songs ever! She is actually the very reson Céline is being laughed about and is not remembered for songs like "It's All Coming Back To Me" but "Because You Loved Me" or "Love Can Move Mountains".

Well, until we all see you writing for Celine and getting her #1 hits then I'd suggest you be a bit more respectful. If you don't like her songs, fine, but to call her a "witch" is out of line in my opinion. Plain and simple!
