LVPantsGirl Posted November 21, 2006 at 07:38 PM Posted November 21, 2006 at 07:38 PM (edited) Scully Dion had the wonderful idea for the fans who would be coming to Las Vegas for the DVD taping to get together after the show at PURE nightclub in Las Vegas. Who wants to go? We are looking at getting a table at PURE so that people have a place for their drinks and their stuff to go while dancing and exploring the club. **So far Scully DIon has learned that you have to wait until 30 days prior to the date you'd like to book a table to do so. At that point we'll need to let them know whether we want a table in the "Red Room" or in the "Main Room". **A table, when I last checked into it, required a purchase of a minimum of at least two bottles of alcohol (starting at $100 per bottle) and then a suggested tip of about $100. Sounds like fuuuuun! Edited November 21, 2006 at 07:41 PM by LVPantsGirl Quote
LVPantsGirl Posted November 22, 2006 at 12:08 AM Author Posted November 22, 2006 at 12:08 AM OK, here's the deal: Getting a table at PURE equals VIP. No lines, no cover charge. Mixers at each table are included. Bottles of alcohol start at $375 each and we are expected, as a group, to buy one bottle per every three or four people. A dress code is enforced which means that there are no sneakers or sandals allowed. There's a larger option but we'd have to get 50 people or more to make it "affordable". And even then, after dinner the Larger option would be a little much. Quote
Lawna Posted November 28, 2006 at 05:28 AM Posted November 28, 2006 at 05:28 AM sounds like a great idea, but it is somewhat pricey. Salla Posted November 28, 2006 at 03:05 PM Posted November 28, 2006 at 03:05 PM Yeah, it would be great to go to Pure, but like Alanna said, the price is pretty high. Especially if you don't drink much. Quote
Scully Dion Posted November 28, 2006 at 03:30 PM Posted November 28, 2006 at 03:30 PM Yes it is expensive... if no one wants to reserve a table, maybe "plan B" would be to get our names on to the guest list, then just pile in after the show? Then whoever wants to get a drink can just order from the bar. Quote www.celinelasvegas.comCeline Dion and Las Vegas Travel Guide - follow me on twitter @celinelasvegas
Salla Posted November 28, 2006 at 06:34 PM Posted November 28, 2006 at 06:34 PM Yup, plan B sounds better Quote
LVPantsGirl Posted December 3, 2006 at 07:45 AM Author Posted December 3, 2006 at 07:45 AM Just a note about Plan B: I went there for my birthday and the problem was that we waited in line for two hours to get in. If we go with no boys in line, the all girls line is a shorter wait (yep!). But if you have a male in your group it takes a lot longer. The table costs a lot, yes. I agree. I just don't know if you all think it is also worth the wait without the VIP treatment. Quote
