keny Posted November 21, 2006 at 03:48 PM Posted November 21, 2006 at 03:48 PM I don't know how it is on commercial radio, because I have not listened to it for several years now since I have had satellite radio. XM to be exact. Celine is well represented to the national audience. There are four stations in particular that play Celine all the time, and one during the holiday season. They are (23) The Heart, (103) Holly -during holiday season, (9) 90's Hits, (25) The Blend, modern Contemp, and (26) Flight 26 90's and Now. There is also two Francophone stations, (102) Sur la Route, Pop Hits en Français and, (100) Air Musique (New & Emerging Music en Français) Both play Celine's French Hits. Very COOL! So if any of you miss hearing Celine on your radio, Get XM. You will hear all her hits and "deep tracks" others through the day. It makes you feel like she is on the charts again Quote
Bullet Posted November 22, 2006 at 03:53 PM Posted November 22, 2006 at 03:53 PM Glad to hear this! Thanks for the info. It might push traditional radio stations to play more Celine... Everyone wants to hear Céline but radio stations don't acknowledge that - they think it's not cool... Let's see what happens when Satellite stations eat away the market share of regular stations... stevethefan Posted November 22, 2006 at 11:54 PM Posted November 22, 2006 at 11:54 PM Yes it's nice to see that she is getting airplay on Satellite radio. Satellite seems to have alot of diversity, especially compared to regular terrestrial radio. I do her her music quite often when I'm in a store or restaurant, so she still gets represented. Quote
