"Quand on s'aime" Should Be One Of The Tracks On

I've been thinking about this the past couple days and thought I'd share my thoughts. I think it would be a great idea if Celine's next English/French album is jazz influenced for them to put "Quand on s'aime" on it. Yes, I know it would be "recycling," but as it is the song is pretty tough to acquire unless you live in Canada or another country where Rene Simard is popular.

What do you guys think?

I think you're spot on, Joseph! I would be all for it especially that it's arguably one of the very finest tracks she's ever recorded - at 3 a.m.! :w00t:

Even if they're not available to everybody? If it was a song that was already released on another album of hers (i.e. First Time Ever..., Braham's..., and Have You Ever...) I'd agree, but I think it's a good idea for "Quand..." to be on a new album. That way everybody can have a chance of owning the song.

I think it's time for us to stop being so greedy. Not everybody who's a Celine fan knows about this forum, has the Internet, etc. So for them it wouldn't be a recycled song.

From what we know so far about the French album, it won't fit into the concept.

It would be nice to have an English version, but only if she finds a good singer to record the duet. Michael Buble would have a good voice for that kind of songs.

Yeah, an English version would be great. However, I doubt she'll ever do one. I don't know, maybe this could be a bonus track on the French edition? Then again if that happened that would completely do away with my whole point of this thread. LOL

I'd love to have that song on a CD! But it's the only old song allowed. :P Cuz so many people still haven't heard that song, and it would be a shame if that song wasn't widely available.
