The special "These Are Special Times" aired on CBS Television [CTV in Canada] on November 25, 1998 as a one-hour concert. It was watched by 16 million viewers and was the No. 1 rated show for that night.

 

Celine performed the following songs, in order:

 

The Power of Love

Do You Hear What I Hear [sung with Rosie O'Donnell]

O Holy Night [unfortunately album playback]

Because You Loved Me

Let's Talk About Love

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

My Heart Will Go On

The Prayer [sung with Andrea Bocelli; also album playback]

Andrea then sang Ave Maria

Then Celine finished by singing a part of the song "These Are The Special Times".

Did you know that the UK airing did not include DYHWIH? It was cut from the broadcast along with most of Celine's introductory speech. Presumably becuase Rosie is not as well known here and for time restraints.

I don't know why but I like it very much especially the song with Bocelli and the part in which she jokes with Rosie O'Donnel!
