Hey Guys,

Right now I am in the airport waiting for my flight home :cry: I have had an AMAZING week. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get internet access on the strip, so I am now posting my reviews for the shows. It was so amazing, out of all the nights, Sunday was 1000 times better than any other day. I can't believe I saw Celine so much, she was the best. I got to do some really cool things with Angela, Romona and Kimberly, so I really enjoyed it! I will share some pics later on and give more of a story of what I did besides Celine!

Review for November 1, 2006

Front row is by far my favorite place to sit in the Colosseum, and tonight I was able to sit there again. I sat next to a woman who had an autograph from Celine that said happy birthday, but she didn’t meet her before the show. I knew she would probably get the rose, which was fine with me...one time is plenty (although another time would be nice too, lol). Sadly, there was an empty seat next to me the ENTIRE concert…ORCH 4 seat 404…what a good thing to go to waste!

The show opened with the break of the glass as usual. AMAZING…I love ANDHC, and Celine was flawless on this one. I enjoyed the new costumes too, for the most part. Elijah was definitely in the show and he did a great job as usual. I was surprised to see that when TLYM started, Jean Seb was not on stage, nor was he present for MHWGO. After the show I saw him walking out on some crutches, so he must have done something to his foot/leg.

Okay for those of you who think that Celine lips everything, think again! She OBVIOUSLY doesn’t for a majority of the show, and there were a few mistakes done tonight that I noticed to prove this fact, but she was amazing none the less. While singing Seduces Me, she sang to quick and in a part where it was only supposed to be music. She sang the “and all that you do” part, she was early and sang, “And a…” I love those little mistakes because it really proves that it is REAL.

She did great singing IIC, while introducing the song she wiped a tear from her eye, it was very touching. At the end when she talked about it being a beautiful song somebody in the audience said “do it again” and Celine kinda walked over to that part of the stage pretending to do so.

Okay, I must say there is an outfit that is kinda tacky!!! When she comes out for AA, she wears super tight black pants with black boots a huge red belt and some crazy pleather look long red gloves. I don’t know what is up with that outfit, but it’s pretty crazy, and really the only one that I don’t really care for. I love the IS dress as well as the MHWGO dress, they are all beautiful!

The audience pretty much sucked tonight…shame on those who were there…there were lots of cheers, but people did not want to stand up. I was one of the first standing for I’m Alive (which I now realize that people don’t typically stand up for, so I possibly think I got that started, lol) and then again for LCMM, and I was forced to sit down by the person behind me for IDAN…I was pissed! The show came to an end all too soon, and the birthday lady from Canada got the rose, which I was happy for her, it’s definitely a nice present! Somebody behind the birthday lady gave Celine a rose and a letter and she was like “I give one, and then I get one!”, it was cute, so since she excepted that, I grabbed a little stuffed frog that I had brought with me (for good luck, right??) and yelled Celine and handed it to her!! It was so cute! I didn’t think that I’d actually get to give her a frog again! What a great way to end the night! One night down, four more to go!

Review for November 2, 2006:

Tonight was another great show. I met up with Ramona and Angela before the show and we were able to get some dinner at the Cyprus Street Market.

I was excited about being in the 2nd Mezz because I knew that I would get a great view of the show as a whole, rather than just keeping my focus on Celine. I sat next to a nice older gentleman who kept asking me questions about the show, it was really entertaining!

I didn’t really notice anything too much that stood out from tonight’s show, other than the fact that the audience sucked MORE than last night. Many of the people didn’t stand up at all…it was probably only those in the front orchestra who stood up during LCMM and IDAN. I hope that those going to the dvd taping with get the audience involved!

It was great to see all the designs on stage that you can see from the orchestra. I just can’t get over how amazing the show is and just taking in Celine’s voice is SUCH a treat. She sounds so great, such a crisp and pure sound that I just can’t get enough of and it makes me realize just how amazing she truly is (as if I didn’t know already, lol!).

Review for November 3, 2006:

Tonight was another great show! I loved being back in the front orchestra in row DD, much closer and enjoyable than 2nd Mezz! On my right side were 4 ladies who spoke French, and on my left were 2 more ladies who also spoke French, so that was pretty cool. The ladies on my right were very into the show, which I was happy about! They kept saying “bravo” and “oui” all the time, it was so cute!

Tonight I noticed that Jean-Seb was playing in the show, he was just under the stairs on the right side of the stage where the other musicians are, so I was happy that he wasn’t completely out of the show.

Celine seemed more into the show tonight which was great. She didn’t stray very far in her speeches, although she did say “Friday night’s alright” one time, which kinda made me laugh a little.

Celine’s voice is just so great that it keeps giving me chills night after night. I could see it 100 nights in a row, and not get sick of it! She did make another little mistake this time, which once again shows she is singing live! In IGTWOAS, you couldn’t hear the “I’ve got the world on a string” at the very beginning when the music starts, I just heard it pick up at “I’m sitting around the rainbow”, but it was still so magnificent.

My one complaint that I have night after night is the crappy audiences. When she started LCMM, not many stood up right away, and this is in the front on the floor! I was in the team Celine section, and those lazy people just sat on their a$$es!!!! I mean if you come to sit on your butt, go home and watch a Celine video! So by the time IDAN came by, it was only me, Ramona, Angela and the guy from Brazil who were standing, how pathetic! I really hope that she noticed us. So, if any body was there tonight in team Celine seats, SHAME ON YOU!!! You make me as a fellow Celine fan VERY ashamed! I really hope that the crowds for the DVD can turn things around!

The end came all to soon like it always does, and Elijah gave Celine TWO roses!!! I was wondering what that was about. Celine walked way over to the left in Orch 1 or 2 and gave the roses to two little girls. They were soooooo cute. They were probably about 3 and 5-years-old! I was so happy for them!

Review for November 4, 2006:

Great job Celine and cast for yet another unbelievable show! This time I was Orch 4 Row CC seat 407! It was great to be so close to Celine once again! The audience was pretty much on tonight and into the show, which was nice.

One thing that is kinda funny that I remembered from the night before is when Celine sings IACBTMN, is when she turns around that I can hear her shoe squeak on the floor, lol. I thought that was really funny and it happened each night it seems!

Celine didn’t really stray too much from her usual talks, but some lady in the audience screamed “I Love You Celine”. Celine said, “I love you too, girlfriend. Don’t get me started. I love to sing, but I love to talk. Love, love, love”. It was quite funny and entertaining. I enjoy it when she does a little adlibbing with her speeches!

Celine’s voice was flawless as usual, and once again I cannot believe how incredible it is to be in this audience in this amazing theater!!!! I really didn’t pick up any mistakes on Celine’s part tonight, great job! The audience would NOT stand up though for LCMM! Again I was very frustrated with this. She told everybody to stand up, so of course I did, but not even half of the front ORCH stood up! Then she went over to the side of the stage where Mego is and STOPPED singing, missed a whole line of the song to tell everybody to stand up!!!! I could not believe it, and even then only about half of the people stood up in the front ORCH. This was pathetic! I have NEVER heard Celine say to the audience to stand up twice, let alone skip a part of the song to do it, these people are just plain rude! I think Celine gets very frustrated with this!

During AA when Yves came on stage to play AA, I noticed that he had his hair down, which was kinda interesting. I wonder why he decided to do that? The one other thing that caught my eye tonight was that when Celine finishes the show and all the dancers go around and wave, then run off stage, Celine is still on stage in the corner by Elise’s side. She was dancing like a crazy woman, and you could just see a part of her. It was so entertaining to watch, so if you go to the show and sit in front, be sure to watch for that. I had never noticed it before!

Review for November 5, 2006:

This was a sad night, knowing that it would be my last Celine concert for a while, I wanted the concert to start, but I really didn’t want it to end. I was happy for tonight because my friend Kimberly and I had seats together, so it was going to be an amazing time. Next to us were four ladies from Chicago who had NEVER seen the show or Celine in concert. We told them they were in for a treat, and they were sooooooo excited. We talked with them for a while, then the announcement, “Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to A New Day…” and the camera started zooming in on the crowd. Then, the break of the glass and the crowd went WILD!

ANDHC was amazing, and being in the 2nd row was AMAZING, especially when Celine comes to the very front of the stage and she is SOOOOOOO close! Okay, I know I have been complaining about the crowds every night, but it was very appropriate. Tonight, however, was the BEST crowd that I have EVER been in, they were on fire! Celine got a standing ovation after ANDHC, as well as TPOL! It was truly amazing.

Celine did her usual speech after TLYM, nothing too out of the ordinary. She got great applause after TLYM, and people were screaming for her and she said, “Don’t get me started, I’m a talker.” It was great!But IIC, was completely amazing hands down, one of the best for the night. I saw something happen that I have never seen before. When Celine finished, she noticed this guy in Orch 4, CC, 401 was crying like a baby, so she came down off the stage and went to him and gave him a big hug! She also hugged one of the girls from Chicago as well as to women in the front row. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Celine was on fire, and she was feeding off the AMAZING crowd! She was on the floor with people for probably 2 or 3 minutes it seemed, and then she went back on stage. She said the song gets harder to sing because she has a 5 ½-year-old. She also went on to say that “Somebody once told me that people cry because they are blessed.” It was just so touching and I was actually PROUD to be a part of this audience.

Guess what? The audience stood up right away for LCMM and Celine was giving 150% to us, it was amazing. The audience stayed standing for IDAN as well. I was soooooooooooooo happy to finally be in a crowd that gave Celine the energy she needs to do her best job! Celine got a great standing ovation at the end, and she gave the rose to some lady in the front row of ORCH 3. Again I watched Celine as she left the stage, but she was still standing there as she did the night before. She was giving the dancers the peace sign, then she flipped it around and pretended that her fingers were walking. It was the funniest thing that I have ever seen! What a way to finish the week, and I know that I must pick a time to come back. I wasn’t planning on coming back until the final show, but I know that I can’t wait that long! Celine is just TOO good to stay away from!

Oh me too! What the hell is the point of getting really good seats if you're not going to join in. Once, when I was sitting in the 1st mezz, the people behind me complained because I kept jumping up and dancing. Then they had the nerve to say (loudly) that they hadn't enjoyed the show and wouldn't bother in future. Good riddance is all I can say.

She wears the outfit for AA-IDAN, but takes the gloves off while introducing the musicians and gives them to Elise. They are interesting...She has on tight black leggings, tall boots to her knees that are suede, a red belt around her waist, the same black lacy see-through top with the black suede jacket, and red gloves up to her elbows...you just have to see it! Hopefully some pictures will be posted on TC soon! :flowers:

i like the sound of celine dancing round in knee high boots n gloves,lmao...

doesn't this mean with all these costume changes that celine is on stage alot less??

i wonder when more songs will be added as rdmh should be anytime soon, cos the show is still a bit short... :s

They're experimenting with the clothes at the moment.. She started wearing that halfway through her 1st week (after the break)..

Celine's boots are black, although I think they'd look better if they were red, then she would really look like a superhero, lol!! At this time, her hair is in a pony tail, and it looks a lot thinner, making me think that she doesn't have extensions right now. Then she changes into the MHWGO dress (which was pink with sleeves on Sunday night and light blue sleeveless on all the other nights) and her hair is in a bun which other people have talked about, she looks amazing still though!!!

Hey, I was at the show on Nov 1 too! I was in Orch. 3, row BB. It was my first show, and I did think the audience was kind of quiet and boring - I just chalked it up to most of the audience members being a little older than I'm used to. It's nice to hear that some audiences are better!

I admit, when my whole section sat down at the beginning of I Drove All Night, I did too. I'm not going to stand in the middle of all those cranky people! Actually, all of the people around me said they had a GREAT time after the show was over.

I thought the worst thing about the audience was at the end, before the encore. We're supposed to be loud, making it clear that we want another song - but it seemed kind of weak to me. I was wondering if they were even going to come back out.

You know, I've had that too but I've also had many, MANY people involved with the show tell me to just ignore the crankies in the audience. especially if you're in the front.

I'm a stand up and dance kinda' girl and over my birthday weekend there wasn't one single time that I stood up the entire time. My friends (who are also get up and dance people) were urging me to sit down because the peoplebehind us were so cranky.

But you know.... that's something NO ONE will have to worry about at the convention. Hehe.

So I was at the Nov 3rd show and I thought it was amazing. First off, I had 3rd row seats and was pretty happy, but of course, I wanted more. So I decided to take a little trip down to the box office and who do I see there????????????????? Rene!!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked!!! So I walked up to him and asked to take pictures, and he actually did!! He came out from behind the ticket counter and talked and took pictures!! Dream come true right? Well it gets better...so I go back to the lady at the box office after taking pictures and asked her to check for front row tickets...and they have!! So I sat front row in section 3 row AA. During IIC...I basically felt Celine was singing only for me!! She was only like 5 feet away!! It was amazing. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that Celine ALWAYS gives the rose to the kids...now yes, we all love the children, but they honestly do not know the severity of what they are getting! They don't understand they are receiving a rose from THE Celine Dion. To them, it's just like a lady who sings gave me a rose...sorry I had to get that off my chest...but that doesn't change the fact that CELINE IS AMAZING!!!! I found a good website with some samples of his songs. He has one cd with a lot of Celine songs on them...he is so good!
