Celine's new holiday recordings

I remember last year we were discussing some news that Celine recorded some new holiday songs through David Foster and that they might have been released either on a new CD from her or on a holiday compilation CD with other artists. We are approaching the holidays and no news about these new recordings have surfaced. Does anyone out there have any word as to what will become of those songs that she apparently recorded sometime last year? Thanks for your replies!

Good question. The recording entitled THESE ARE THE SPECIAL TIMES are starting to bore me out every year! No offense. It would be nice if she put out a new recording of Christmas material.

I've been said they've been abandoned as David and Sony didn't see point in releasing another Xmas album. The songs Josh Groban recorded were put on hold as well.

That SUCKS! I would liked to have heard her sing some different things like "Silent Night" as well as Jingle bells with a nice jazzy sound to it. Oh well!

There is nothing wrong with releasing another Christmas album. Kenny G. has released FIVE Christmas albums in a little over ten years. That's A LOT of Christmas albums... Celine's favorite time of the year is definitely Christmas. Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible.

Ahhh, poop! I loooovve Christmas, and I would DIE for another Christmas album by Celine. I'm sure most of her fans encourage this I know I do FOR SURE

Maybe once her other albums have been released and her popularity has increased again...they will continue work on releasing another Christmas CD(maybe 09, but probably 09 at the earliest). If she released another one now, it wouldn't do as well as TAST....but I would still LOVE it if they would anyway.

I wouldn't count on it with so many other artists releasing new Christmas CDs. But I'm sure it will still sell well, and it will do even better once she's releasing new material again.

Dont' worry, they will resurface some day... TAST is still selling well during the holidays so it might be a bit early to release another one. One Christmas album every 10 years is enough in my opinion...

I would love to have a new Christmas CD from Celine. I love TAST, but a new CD with Celine singing Christmas classics and even some new Christmas songs would be great! If she is ever going to do a Jazz album, I would prefer a Jazz Christmas album over a regular Jazz album.

I don't see why it wasn't included on TAST to begin with. It can't be because there wasn't enough room on the disc simply because the Japanese edition has the instrumental to MHWGO.

I agree! I really like that song!! That would have been a great addition to that CD. I'd love to see her perform that live (with the same hot skirt and heels on again!)

i think it is the best way for celine if she release a new christmast album.... may be also she sing same song from these are special times but with a new arrangement..
