The performances JP posted were really great but NO ONE in the world will tell me she was NOT nasal during the IACBTM performances. In almost each verse of the song there was a HEAVY nasal note. Even more than now. YES YES YES even MORE MORE than now.

 

Nooooooooow, the best live performance of hers is of course "Quand Ca Balance" and all the other songs she sang on Simplement Marnay in 2003.

i loooooove the 99 juno's performance of lbdb. even though there was a slight catch of the voice in the beginning she more then made up for it in the rest of the song.

 

and i LOVE that rehersal bootleg of TPOL...its my favorite rendition of that song. shame its two minutes long and crappy quality.

Wow what a tough question!!! I would think one of my favorites would be the recent performance on Jerry Lewis' telethon. O Holy Night would be another one (although there is some uncertainty as to whether or not it is lipped). Her performances on ANDHC 2002 special are also great. I guess I don't have one favorite but it I needed to pick one, it would be Miracle on Ellen.

There are so many but the medley with The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, Tears In Heaven and Because by the Beatles was absolutely stunning, also Think Twice at the World Music Awards - breathtaking and even better than the original. Also loved Call the Man in Montreal, and Calling You .

 

Ooh AND in her 1997 Falling Into You tour when she replicates the instrument noises and does the funny faces - ace! So talented!

I can't believe no one has mentioned the astonishing performance of "All By Myself" from the 1996 Billboard Music Awards - that, hands down, has got to be the best performance of ABM Celine ever did. So powerful, so passionate and the response from the audience there was tremendous!

Another one that jumps immediately to mind is "Le Blues Du Businessman" from Live a Paris. It's a crime Sony didn't put it on the cd, as it would have elevated an already brilliant album to a whole other level.

Other ones would have to include the breathtaking performance of "The Colour of My Love" from David Foster's 1994 Xmas special, SSDA live from ACDS, TLYM from the 1997 Juno Awards [10000x better than the above Rosie performance], the entire Ghent, Chicago and Indianapolis concerts...God, there are so many! And as others have mentioned, TT live in Zurich has captivated me from the first time I heard it.

WOW! I remembered this performance, but I couldn't find it for a while...but now that I have, it's just reminded me that THIS IS the GREATEST performance from Celine Dion that I've ever witnessed. Beyond words.
