Récompensés de 200 prix à travers le monde, dont trois Bobines d'or, un record pour un producteur Québécois, les célèbres Contes pour tous de Rock Demers sont maintenant disponibles dans un premier coffret qui réunit six films dont La guerre des tuques, Bach et Bottine, Régina, Fierro...l'été de tous les secrets, Mon petit diable et C'est pas parce qu'on est petit qu'on peut pas être grand.

 

Amorcée en 1984 avec La guerre des tuques, un classique du cinéma jeunesse qui a séduit des millions de cinéphiles sur les cinq continents, la série Contes pour tous compte 22 films et le producteur Roch Demers rêve de poursuivre cette série avec cinq long-métrages additionnels: "ça faisait longtemps que j'attendais que la collection complète soit offerte en DVD! Il s'agit d'un rêve qui est en train de se réaliser avec la sortie d'un premier coffret grâce à Pierre Paquet d'Imavision, de Richard Laferrière de Delphis FIlms et de tous les artisans qui ont contribué au succès international de ces films".

 

Le premier coffret n'était pas encore lancé que déjà Pierre Paquet et les gens d'Imavision préparaient un second coffret de collection ainsi qu'un CD réunissant 10 chansons tirées des trames sonores des six premiers films de la collection qui sont interprétées par des artistes populaires comme Céline Dion, Nathalie Simard, Michel Rivard et Fabienne Trudeau.

 

Pour chacun des coffrets vendus, une somme de 2$ sera versée au comité du Centenaire de l'Hôpital Ste-Justine pour venir en aide aux enfants malades.

A DVD containing a documentary of Celine singing for the movie series, Peanut Butter Solution, released in 1985 as well as CDs with song themes of the series. Anyone going to buy this?

Two of Celine's songs, "La Ballade de Michel" and "Dans les mains du magicien" are included on a special anthology DVD called 'Les Contes pour tous!' This special DVD features a collection of 8 movies from the children's series. Celine originally recorded these songs in 1985 for "Opération Beurre de Pinottes," a movie that appears on this anthology collection. The DVD has been released by Imavision Imavision and is available in Quebec.

I would like to have this series (not only because of the featured songs, 'cause it would be easy enough to find them through the internet), but the problem is that we can't find a european release, and you know in Europe area the US/Canada area dvds can't be played.

 

Maybe we should wait and see if they are about to release it, but I really doubt about it! And I can't understand why the Quebec market is so divided by the french one!!! It's stupid, especially when we talk about "francophonie" nowadays!
