These are two things reminding ppl all over the world that Céline is someone unique with unique delivery and passion. Something like Shirley Bassey's newest single "The Living Tree":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qweky4tMcbI I will not settle for less as we all know Céline has the means to exceed herself with every release. If she wants, she can combine the hypnotic rhythm with her bombastic vocals as Shirley did but it's not necessary. She has to have a proper hook in the song, a hook that will amaze everyone. Especially that she will do HEAVY promotion for the single. It should be QUALITY, not some serious trash a la "You & I". Such songs with memorable bass line and orchestra are bound to be timeless and if they're performed by legends like Céline it's success all the way to Berlin! Céline could turn such quality into some serious hit - it's not a ballad, not a real uptempo, it's something in between, something that Céline is known for - classy mid-tempos. I would prefer it to be a slower song.....with a jazz influence. But who knows! It may be something totally different and I may love it! But I really hope it's all quality and I really want it to be a CRITICAL success.... And of course I'd be happy with a power ballad.....it's what made her Celine!
