Now you all know the following message can be passed on to Céline by either: I) celinedion.com's staff surfing the forumII) Feeling production's surfing the forumIII) fans that surf the forum and will have the chance to meet her or RenéNow of one the most striking things that amazed me in her official biographies (thing that she herself said) is that she was: I) shy enough and didn't want to share her songwriting skills with the worldII) she was shy enough and didn't want to share her piano playing skills with the worldIII) René encouraged her so much to GO ON and let the things that she wrote be heardIV) very surprised the fans wanted her to record a jazz album Assuming René is really encouraging her to publish her material, her self-written material that nota bene consists of not only one but SEVERAL already self-written songs, it is natural that she still doesn't know how her fans want her English music to become a little more personal. So it is now up to us here to voice our opinions of encouragement for Céline and let the official staff browsing the web know that she has already written a song "Drop By Drop" and many more and she should not be afraid to give it away. It will do her good. Now that the English album is being prepared we should speak it loud and perhaps someone will listen. She has to put her own piece into her English music. Can you imagine Benoit Jurtas producing "Drop By Drop"? This would be really amazing. So if she plans to release an English album, she should either record this magnificent jazz CD or record a POP record but with her own input: Drop By Drop, Isabella and other songs that she has mentioned in "For Keeps". The fans won't let this album be an album of a lost chance. The inclusion of the magnificent J.P. Ferland is very welcome but unless we know there are some self-written songs by her, songs I repeat that she already has at home dusting in the drawer, this English POP project will not live up to fans' high exectations. Fan that believe in her talent as a songwriter as René does. I just want you all to keep that in mind in case you meet someone at Caesars - be it Mego, René or any band member, just tell her that fans would love to hear some Céline-written and composed songs on the future English album! thevoice Posted October 14, 2006 at 11:49 AM Posted October 14, 2006 at 11:49 AM seb , from what we hear i can assure u that the english album would be as commercial as ever and again it seems like it's all in a rush - celine is not really taking her time to choose the songs and record this album , how do i know it? - she simply doesnt have the time!! she should take a vacation , clean her soul and heart after those 4 years in vegas and come back in 2008 with an amazing album but i guess they just cant wait til then .i truely dont think celine will use her songs for this album . i just hope we wont get another OH Quote

She has one full year before the English album comes out. She could deliver something special. The inclusion of Ferland is just a hint that she wants to record something different...maybe not jazz, but something different than usual. I think if we make ourselves clear here it may be that someone that is kind enough will pass the message on to her. Not her voice is the problem here this time but the songs - they have to be good enough for HER! Not for the bank accounts of the Backstreet Boys producers! There is no doubt she IS rushing but she still can make it right. One year to go. I think it would be great for her to deliver a more personal album (ie with about 5 songs of her own) in additon to the songs Ferland wrote for her. This English CD like no other can be a winner. And we have to make sure we did everything to make it happen. She is still preparing and collecting ideas - her team has been collecting ideas already for so much time now for both her French and English CD. So far wehave heard about that Mexican producer, Benoit Jurtas, Ferland and Céline herself. Maybe Peer Anstron and Chris Neil. And Anstrom being the only one from the Swedes that we heard of may be part of the project again. Plus of course Vito Luprano but he will do anything she wants so that's not an issue. And you know what? WThat's enough! That's enough of writers and producers for her for this CD. Afanasieff, Nova, Luprano, Ferland, Neil, Anstrom, Jurtas and that Mexican writer/producer I forgot the name of plus Céline herself would be sufficient. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

He will be surely featured on her next CD as he was preparing new songs for her at the beginning of this year. Ferland has already written "No One Kisses Like You" for her and he will probably write more. Vito Luprano has been already confirmed. So a couple of songs from Jurtas, a couple of songs from John Secada's producer, a couple of songs from Ferland and one or two by Peer Anstrom, all this produced by Chris Neil and Vito Luprano = a perfectly good English album! I am sure they have known for quite so time that a new English album would be coming out in 2007. And like some ppl said before me, she could just put one or two on the album and see what the reactions are. If people don't like it, at least she tried. and I think the chances are very very slim that people won't like it. Just the fact that she wrote it would mean a lot to all the fans. Quote
