She can't take a break until late 2008. She's got this European mini-tour planned. That's the very reason I don't understand how someone at Sony's wants to release the album in december so badly cuzz if released March 2008 it would coincide with her European tour which would be the perfect promotion.

Christina Aguilera released her album in Summer 2006 and start touring beginning 2007, Beyoncé did the same, Tiziano Ferro did the same ( ). So, imagine that:

 

- october 2007 Céline having a break from AND and promoting the english single/album and the french single/album in Europe;

- december 2007 Céline finishes AND and many ppl will talk about her (= promotion!);

- beginning 2008 Céline touring to promote both her new albums.

 

It makes sense to me.

It does make sense, Renato perdono si quel che e fatto e fatto io pero chiedo but I think it's always a bad idea to release two albums at the same time. This way there is no way she will be able to promote them properly...I have no idea how she'd manage to promote BOTH singles simultaneously!

In the same way Shakira promotes both FO1 and OF2. French single for french market, english single for worldwide market. It's so easy. Stop, dimentica!

They flopped not because of lack of promotion. But because of Shakira herself (although I do love her ). If Céline promotes her 2 albums with the half of Shakira's exposition to the media, she will be #1 all over the world. You know Céline needs few appearances to be #1.

alright - now that celine CONFIRMED herself that there is a new english album i think it's time all the fans will write celinedion.com about more details and specialy about the release date . they already confirmed the news about the new french album and even talked about a fall release . i'm certain that now that celine herself broke the news they wont have a problem to write about it and maybe we'll learn more about the release date!!

Yes, this could happen. The albums will be released first with not so much promotion - let the momentum/buzz do the work. When she's done with Vegas (and the albums have dropped lower into the charts), she begins the real promotion (which will cause a huge rise in the charts)..

 

Like I said earlier, I believe her French album will be released in Sept/Oct (with Celine possibly doing promo in her Summer break or her Autumn break) and the English album in November (which she can promote simultaneously with the release of the DVD and the end of the show). I'm sure lots of media will report about the nearing end of her show, and combined with the new English album & the DVD it will even be better.

Because it is black and it definately looks "Victorian" and also, it couldn't be the one she wears later on in the show, because that one (which she also wore at the 500th show) looks/is different. But then it raises the question: how on earth is she able to have that white suit on in TPOL (the next song)??

I know what you mean. I've always thought the same thing... In this case, she looks older... But still looks cute. LOL

Its because of poor lighting. She's usually lit much better and the wrinkles and sagging skin don't look as apparent. But if you look at her mom she has the same thing going on...corners of the mouth and jawline. Nothing will fix that but a little nip tuck

Yet in stylish black she always reminds me of the D'eux Céline...so puuuuurrrfect! So mysterious. So her. I bet the new French album will evolve around a mysterious dark Céline...awwww. Baby I just melt away fall like rain!

Celine Dion is thrilled her show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is nearing its end, because she is desperate to have another child.

 

Dion and her husband Rene Angelil have one son, five-year-old Rene Charles, and are eager to expand their family.

 

The singer has been performing her concert A New Day for four years and has only one year left before she leaves Las Vegas permanently.

 

The My Heart Will Go On singer says: "It's almost over, even though there's one year left. I feel, and I think we all feel, that we are kind of walking out and it's bittersweet.

 

"I already feel that it's going to be hard when we say goodbye. French album, English album, one more year of this show. After, I hope to have another child.

 

"We're building a new home in Florida. We would love to have another child, but to have it on that stage with a rig like that is not the best thing to do.

 

"So let me do one thing at a time, one song at a time...we'll see!"

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Celine Dion is desperate to have another baby.

 

The French-Canadian singer wants to start trying for another child as soon as she ends her long-running 'A New Day' show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

 

She revealed to US TV show 'Extra': "I have one more year left of this show, after that I hope to have another child.

 

"I would love to have another child, but to have it on that stage with a rig like that is not the best thing to do so let me do one thing at a time, one song at a time... we'll see."

 

Despite her baby plans, Celine - who is married to music producer René Angélil - is not looking forward to her Las Vegas extravaganza coming to an end.

 

She relented: "It's almost over, even though there's one year left. I feel, and I think we all feel, that we are kind of walking out.

 

"It's bittersweet. I already feel that it's going to be hard when we say goodbye."

 

Meanwhile, Cher is set to replace Celine at Caesars Palace when she finishes her run.

 

The 'Believe' singer - who has just completed her 'Farewell Tour' - has been offered a whopping $60 million to take over.

 

Bosses are even reportedly planning to build a unique concert hall to house Cher's spectacular show, if she takes up residence in 2008.
