I just hope that the new English album is well done. I could care less that it's recorded in Vegas......it really doesn't matter. But I do hope that they take the time to make it a solid album where each track is memorable. Her voice is at it's best since the mid 90s these days, so we know what fantastic that will be! So I hope she starts recording for both albums soon!

I wonder who that kid is that they showed Celine with. It isn't RC, right? I don't think it looks anything like him...he's pretty recognizable!

seb , it's clear now that celine cant wait to have another child and she really wants to do it as soon as posiible - i hope u right but i think that the new english album will be released in 2007 , maybe even sonner than we think

She always says different things about her next baby... once she said it was not planned. Plus she has almost 40 years. A bit late... I think.

 

Concerning her next english album.. I think it's perfect time as international fans haven't had a new album for 4 years... I mean was One heart a real album? don't think so... I don't talk about ANLILV and Miracle was a concept not released everywhere (and it was exactly 2 years ago... as long as her hiatus 2000-2002! ... )

 

The last real well-promoted album was ANDHC !

 

But I don't want her to release it during Vegas as she won't be able to travel to promote it.. and I don"t want that it comes out right after Vegas as she won't promote it as well. I suppose she will take at last 1 year of vacation (well deserved ! ) . Otherwise, she's crazy...

Great news! This is what I like: CONFIRMATIONS! I really hate rumours and speculation. Now I'm REALLY EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I really hope she really gets pregnant right after Vegas. I'm a woman too and I can relate to this kind of things. It might me very frustrating and, as far as I'm concerned, family is the most important thing. I've seen selfish people wishing she wouldn't get pregnant so she could tour or whatever. These are the scariest people in my oppinion. Celine is no goddess, no robbot, nothing beyond a human. She is only human and she has feelings like everyone else.

 

And the Garou joke is old and was never fun.

Four years into her record-breaking Las Vegas show A new day... Céline Dion has disclosed plans for her post-Vegas life. Two new albums, a new home, and a second child are all on the books.

 

French Canadian songstress Céline Dion raised a lot of eyebrows when she took herself off the road to mount a nightly extravaganza in Las Vegas. Many doubted whether she could draw in consistent enough crowds to make it profitable. However high demand and massive profits have proved the critics wrong--and other acts are now lining up to "work the Strip."

 

But Céline's contract at Caesar's Palace runs out next year--what's next? In an exclusive interview she gave to the American entertainment programme Extra, Céline didn't equivocate. Her immediate future includes "French album, English album, one more year of this show. After, I hope to have another child".  She and her husband are also building a new, larger home in Florida, in which to live after their Vegas commitments are over.

 

Fans of both her French and English music will be thrilled: Céline's last new French album was 2003's Une fille et 4 types, though she released a double-disc best-of French language disc (One ne change pas) in 2005. seb , after watching this interview i have no doubt - they r planning to release the english album BEFORE the show ends . i just hope it will be as close to the end of the show as possible so celine would be able to promote it right...dont forget that there is going to be a buzz around her last show in vegas so it can promote the album too - maybe a cbs special for her last show?

as u know i hoped too for a march 2008 release but after hearing celine i just know how much she wants to take that break and go for this baby thing .

about the french record - i truely hope they wont release the 2 albums together...i really wanted them to release the french record AFTER vegas too so celine would be able to be in europ for a long time and promote it but if it has to be in 2007 , i think march/april is the only time - after that it'll be too late unless they'll wait til 2008

I also think that the new English album will be in Spring of 2008. I think that's the best time for it, anyway. A fresh, new year with a new, fresh style of songs. Can't wait!

 

As far as those who think that 40 is too old for a baby.....I don't agree at all. MANY famous people(and not famous people) have children well into their 40s. In this day and age, it's not a big deal at all! Celine also has the money to keep her health at a premium for a long, long time. And stars sure don't look like the average 40 year old! So I hope she does follow her dreams and have another child. It may put a damper on her career again, but her personal life is far more important.
