Just watched it. She talked about the show ending in a year and said about future plans: French album, English album, one more year of the show, baby.

 

So she said it herself! English AND French album!

I just watched todays Extra and Celine confirmed it....new French Album and New English Album!!!!!

She said in this order for future plans: French Album, English Album, End the Show, Move To Florida, and then try to have a baby. She didn't mention anything else about future plans except "let's take it one thing at a time and that she would keep us posted if something changes".

 

She looked really good and said she would be sad about the show ending, but she can't have a baby and perform at the same time.

I'm a little nervous about the new CDs also. I'm worried they are going to rush the CDs only to give fans new CDs before she takes another break and that there will not be a lot of promotion for the CD since she will still be in Vegas and will be busy with the show ending.

I'm not as concerned about that. I just reaaaaally dont want a rush job with tons of covers or songs recorded for ANDHC but not released, or something like Superlove. I want her to write maybe one song...

Celine Dion embodies the traits of a Las Vegas legend, and "Extra's" Carlos Diaz caught up with the angel of music just minutes before she stepped on stage at Caesars Palace.

 

The Sin City hotel has been home to Celine's "A New Day" concert for four years; a phenomenal run that is finally edging to a close, with one year left before the showstopper bids adieu to Las Vegas.

 

"It's almost over, even though there's one year left. I feel, and I think we all feel, that we are kind of walking out," Dion admitted. "And it's bittersweet. I already feel that it's going to be hard when we say goodbye."

 

But when the time comes to say goodbye, Celine will be plenty busy as she casually broke baby news while talking about her future plans.

 

"French album, English album, one more year of this show. After, I hope to have another child," Celine revealed. "We're building a new home in Florida.

 

"We would love to have another child, but to have it on that stage with a rig like that is not the best thing to do," Celine theorized. "So let me do one thing at a time, one song at a time… we'll see. But I'll keep you posted!"

 

Celine Dion's "A New Day" runs through the end of 2007.

But the 2 new album will be out at the end of Vegas, thus she will have a lot of time to do promotion.

 

About the french album, this one is prepared since more than one year and will be out in one year. And, by knowing that JJG is in charge of the music and so on.... Everything goes well.

 

But, except the interesting fact that Celine seems to ask songs from Ferland and so from an unexpected songwritter, I don´t have any hopes for this one. I thought that a jazz or whatever but a concept thing was in process since her recent performances and declarations. But now, everything seems to happen as usual...This album will be recorded in the rush during Vegas, and Sony will send her some stupid pop track. The album has just been discussed now, and no sign of any conceptual or jazz/rock/acoustic orientations.

Now that the English Album is confirmed, I want to know more about it. What type of songs, when will it be released, producers, etc? We know a few details about the French CD, so celinedion.com tell us about the English Album. I feel like it has been forever since we have had a entire new English CD so even though I am nervous about it being rushed, I am also very, very excited about it.
