ajguerras Posted October 13, 2006 at 12:27 AM Posted October 13, 2006 at 12:27 AM I know its too late for this, But through these years I have not been able to answer my self why this song wasn´t nominated to the oscars If the only rule that I know is that the song must be exclusive written for the soundtrack of the mocie, and it was so. It has deep lyrics and deep arrangements, clean and strong vocals..... and the golden team: jennings, horner and Dion... So what happened??? I still can´t sleep after that Quote I need someone to loves m like Celine loved René... And just like she sang in LTAL track # 16, I ask for that exact same thingwww.twitter.com/ajguerras
sayyed Posted October 13, 2006 at 02:57 AM Posted October 13, 2006 at 02:57 AM yeah.. its a shame.... and also it was not released as a single! it would have been the perfect follow.up to TTWII (not IWYTNM ). BTW: Bicentannial Man is a movie! Quote https://soundcloud.com/finnremixes

krazy_kool_dude Posted October 13, 2006 at 07:33 AM Posted October 13, 2006 at 07:33 AM i don't know why Celine doesn't perform this song live. It seem to be a fan favourite - especially mine! Quote http://img345.imageshack.us/img345/4136/siggyju5.jpg
songbird Posted October 13, 2006 at 08:20 AM Posted October 13, 2006 at 08:20 AM It's great song, but maybe it was overlooked specifically for that fact. Or maybe they didn't want to give the Horner/Jennings team another Oscar so soon Certainly the song is great, profound lyrics, beautiful arrangements, stunning vocals... it should have been sung live many many times. Maybe one day it will Quote Celine Challenge :: Over 10.000 beautiful pictures of our diva! http://celinedion.evonet.ro/coppermine/
CSCfan Posted October 13, 2006 at 09:48 AM Posted October 13, 2006 at 09:48 AM It's such an underrated song.. I wish this song could have gotten proper promo and have been a bigger succes, but alas.. I wish this song could have gotten proper promo and have been a bigger succes, but alas..<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree. IMO, it didn't get an Oscar beause it would be too soon for the same team to get another one. And not always the best song/film,etc gets the Oscar! Quote
Bellamy Posted October 13, 2006 at 10:33 AM Posted October 13, 2006 at 10:33 AM At least "The Prayer" was nominated in 1999. "The Paryer" should have beaten "When You Believe". Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!

Mozinha Posted October 14, 2006 at 08:53 AM Posted October 14, 2006 at 08:53 AM The song was amazing but I guess the movie was so lame they didn't want to give any kind of nomination.Really, that's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. By the end of the movie and wanted to cry of frustration and over the time I lost watching it. And Robin Williams is my favourite actor but that was just craptastic.
