House paint brands...

So I`m probably going to paint my new apt this weekend but I have no idea what paint brand would be the best for interior. Anyone know?

Yeah that`s what I was thinking too. I went to the store and got some swatches to work with

what kind of colors are you looking at?

For the living room I want to do one wall red and the other two like a tan color, and I was thinking of the same family of colors for the rest of the house. I like to stay in neutral tones with a bright accent color.

I normally use paint made a company called Olympic. You can get this company's paint at Lowe's. It's in the mid-range price.

 

Believe it or not... but Ralph Lauren paint are actually... AMAZING!

Be careful with red, because normally, to get the right coverage, you will need more than two coats of paint.

RALPH LAUREN makes some great paint. I did my home with glidden once and didnt like, then i heard about RL and it was a big diference.

Their faux-finish treatments are time-intensive, but fun and rewarding!

So far for one of the bedrooms, I went with adobe beige by benjamin moore, and I used the color wash technique...where you rub a cloth with paint on the wall, like you`re washing the wall with paint. Its coming along pretty good

I finished the master bedroom and it came out great! I think I might do the dining room like that too
