Over at the Motley Crue website, someone posted an MP3 of Celine singing I Drove All Night over Motley's Nona (an instrumental ballad written for Nikki Sixx's grandma). I am a die hard Crue-Head, & went nuts when I heard this....It was one of the coolest things I heard in a long time! May even make me a Celine fan! Thank you for telling us about that, if you hadn't I don't think I would ever had had the opportunity to listen to this track. It has an almost eerie feel to it, but it has been really well edited! And it really made me notice Celine's vocals, some parts seemed as if I was hearing them for the first time. I really enjoyed that, thanks again! Her voice does sound different, which is why I think everyone is saying they never noticed her vocals before. When you mix something like this the backing track and the vocals don't always match so you have to adjust one of them to match the other. The person who mixed this decided to keep the instrumental as it was originally and alter Celine's vocals, a lot of people have disapproved of this. I think it works really well.
