I'm looking forward to read a Billboard review of this album. They usually mention most of the tracks and comment on them. i'm wondering if they'll mention the original artist for every cover.

I think it's good strategy, if you are goging to be BUYING songs, to buy the ones done by recording artits, in other words, pro's. So it's natural that they wanna aim high with quality and get these tracks. The new songs in this case will be the ones by R.Kelly and Ne-yo, which are acomplished professionals too, plus a few non-cover tracks that will make good album fill-outs.. They're taking chances with the style perhaps, but not in terms of quality, they really need ot make this a hit!

 

PS, Oh and by the way are the R.Kelly and Ne-Yo tracks confirmed for this album?

Celine Dion's cover of her forthcoming album, "Taking Chances," due November 13 via Sony Music. The album is said to feature collaborations with Kara Dioguardi, John shanks, "Ne-Yo", "Timbaland," Terius "Dream Nash, Linda Perry, and Ryan "Alias" Tedder.

 

Britney Spears album will be released the very same day. This debut should be interesting. Celine must leak her music ASAP!

I can't believe it, Celine and Britney in the same sentence , and some people even compare them . I have nothing against Britney but c'mon... Who cares if she has album released the same day? Anyone in the press who is that stupid to compare them is not worthy of reading their article, let alone discuss it. I downloaded the Katrina & the Waves version of "That's Just The Woman In Me" and I'm definitely hoping that this is the same song that Celine recorded.... I think she could tear it up on this one. It's got a great Joss Stone/Janis Joplin vibe - if Sony wanted to take a chance (no pun intended), they could release this one as a single next summer.... it reminds me of a hot summer day! ;-)
