I'm a fan of watches, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and blings. What jewelry do you like to wear or do you admire?

ahh jewelry. I'm a poor student, so I don't own any expensive jewelry. But I could spend days looking at jewelry. lol I mostly wear earrings and necklaces myself. I also have two rings, that are really special to me. One belonged to my dad's mother, who passed away when I was 11 and the other one was made of a ring that belonged to my mom's mother, who passed away long before I was born. The ring that belonged to my mom's mother is also special because my aunt gave it to me, when I was 15. She passed away a little over a year ago and she was like a grandmother to me. It might sound silly, but whenever I wear those rings I feel like I have all three special women with me.

I love how you describe rings. And you're right about the connection. Eventhough I never met my grandmother from my mom's side, I still feel a connection to her trough my mom and trough all of her siblings. Especially through my aunt, cause everyone kept telling me how much she reminds them of my grandmother. And it's always special to have a part of someone else's history.

I love jewelry

Recently I give my daughter one of my rings for her 20th birthday instead of waiting until I am no longer alive. From time to time I will give her other pieces of jewelry.

I like to see jewelry in other people. I like necklaces and rings. But I can't stand to wear for too long. I can wear a necklace for a few hours but it will annoy me so bad I will have to take it out. I can't think of anything else but taking it out.

 

Same for rings. I can't stand rings on my fingers. Not even for only an hour. How am I supposed to wear a wedding ring for all my life if I'll probably take it out before the wedding party is over? lol

When I was married, I always took it off while doing some type of activity especially when I went to bed.

Like you, I couldn't tolerate having something on my finger for the entire day.

It doesn't mean you aren't committed to the person any less. At one time, men didn't wear wedding bands and some still don't.
