New Book Project!

Hey everyone, just wondering if any of you guys think it would be a good idea to do some sort of BIG book project for Celine?, I know something has been done before but I was thinking this time make it really cool somehow...

 

I would put it all together and pay for it to be professionally printed (although that would mean no copywritten material can be used, e.g. Pictures and stuff)... though pics of you with or without Celine could be used...

 

anyone have any ideas???...

If you're going to do a book then it should probably be for the end of AND, with stories from fans who went there and photos from those people who met her. Stuff like that.

yeah i put together a book like this and gave it to her. michel said it was really nice, lol. im sure she'd appreciate anything like this...hearing back from her fans, etc.

I think that some time should pass before another book!

It would be too similar to the last one. You should wait for some really new things to write about!

Yeah but if its true that she gets this stuff everyweek then how long do we wait?... a week, a month, a year, a decade... ????

 

Anyway just a thought, if the majority here don't wanna then we simply won't bother, but if the majority wanna particapate then add suggestions and we'll see what happens.

Hey! This was my idea After I got back from A New Day i could not stop thinking about how wonderful Celine and her entourage was, and I thought of making this book for her with the help of a few other fans...I have great ideas, I'm just shocked that you posted this cuz I swear I have been brainstorming this for weeks now... I think this would be a really nice idea...I don't think it needs to be professionally printed, but if you want to get that done, its up to you. It might be kinda of cool to have each one of us design a page, kinda of like a big scrapbook... I'd definitely participate if this project takes off! let me know if you need any help, just send me a PM!

the reason I'm planning on gettin it professionally printed is basically to make it stand out from the rest, stickin pages and stuff in is really messy and I'm sure shes seen it all before... plus if its professionally printed, the fans can get a copy too!

If we want to go through with this, I suggest we should be doing this for the end of the show. Giving this at the end of "A New Day...". Not this year/early next year..

I think this is a great idea! I do agree with what other people have said and that this one has to be really unique, but I definitely think it oould work. Count me in!

I think we should do something like this.

We should try to do every day that she performed and have a fans story for that day. I know it is difficult but as many as we can get.

 

I think Celine would really appreciate because she can look back and see how much she was loved on every day.

i didn't think of that... Great idea! It would be really cool for not only Celine to have, but us to have a different accounts from fans like us as well! The more I think about this the more I love the idea! I agree that we should wait til close to the vegas end. This is really exciting!

I think it should be years down the road....life after Vegas, and after she's had time to reflect on those years and compare them to how she feels at that time.

 

Hopefully she'll just focus on the music for now.

I think it's a great idea. I personally have never given my support in any book project before. I think it was due to my lack of desire or maybe it just wasn't opportune.

 

Of course Celine loves to get these! I'm sure she has a library full of these somewhere But each one of them is special to her, because they are unique.

 

I definitely will do this one, since I feel the time is now opportune, and since you're printing it professionally.

 

I recommend that maybe you have a fixed dimension for each page. Maybe for people who are good with graphics and designs, they can do their own design within that fixed dimension. For the other people, maybe you could have a template made with a simple design for one/two pics and a paragraph. But then again, there should be cohesiveness in all designs, and maybe it might be better to just have one template. What do you think?

We already have a very good and unique idea, but not sure when to reveal the details yet.

I think the design thing is a good idea for each page... maybe a page designed by each person who wants to but then put their design into a standard page template to make stuff like page numbers and stuff stay the same...

 

As for Bellamy.. come on, release those details!? lol

I did put a book together for Celine this year. It was for her 25th anniversary of being in showbusiness. I went to Vegas last March and was able to get the book backstage. I didn't go backstage, but Celine loved the book. She left me a message in a showbook. It said: To Mireille, Thank you for all your hard work, love Celine Dion xx... ( it's in my room on the wall, and i am so proud when i look at it, )

And then when i saw her that night in the show, she smiled to me. She was sooo happy. She's so sweet!

Later that week i spoke to Patrick and i asked him if she saw the book, he said yes it's in her dressingroom and she looked in it already!

So yeah you can count me in if you design a book!

The idea I had was similar to this, but was more of an appreciation not only to Celine, but to all her family... I wanted to include the pictures with Michel, Patrick, Rene, the dancers, and share with Celine and her crew the emotions that the fans went through, even if it was talk to her brother for 2 minutes, or make new friends from other countries, or be fortunate enough to receive a free ticket and the stories behind these moments (not too much writing though, mostly pictures) those things mean a lot to her fans, and to Celine as well. I dunno how more original you can get?

Yes, these days they won't accept anything at the box office, but i wrote to CDA months before, so they knew about it. Also when they saw the book they were soooo enthusiastic that they just had to give it.

Also it's a matter of luck i guess!
