They're the biggest band this side of the pond, their first album was the best selling of 2004/5 and sold 3 million copies. For those who haven't heard of them - you dunno what you're missing! They're a camp-arific, falsetto, electro-funk, honkey tonk, Elton John/Bee Gees/David Bowie/Blondie extravaganza, and their outfits are out of this world! Their second album Ta-Dah has just hit the shops and sure didn't let us down after their fab debut. The co-singer Ana Matronic iss too fabulous for words with a huge tattoo on her upper arm of a robotic..well..arm...and the lead singer Jake is a disco ball of energy! Along with Celine their my other obsession (and coincidentally they recorded some of their new album at Ceasar's Palace), I've seen them live like 7 times (their shows are an experience to behold) and was fortunate enought to hang out with them in New York - they're the most lovely, down to earth people ever, they even managed to get me into their sold out, over 21 show Every time I see/hear them I just get so uplifted, forget what I've been worrying about and shake my #ss with some Charleston! They haven't really tried to make it in the US due to the gay conservativeness but keep your ears peeled guys you never know! Any other fans here?
