He was seriously injured in a crash while filming the new series of Top Gear. He was trying to set a new land speed record in a jet powered dragster when he lost control at about 300mph. He is currently in hospital in Leeds, UK. His wife Mindy and his 2 young children are by his side. My hopes and prayers go out to him and his family that he makes a full and speedy recovery.
