Céline's Blues Posted September 16, 2006 at 10:14 AM Posted September 16, 2006 at 10:14 AM From the Dallas Morning News http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...on1.44c377.html 7. Headliners Avoid: Celine Dion's A New Day ... (Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. S.; 877-423- 5463). It's not that it's a terrible show. Well, it was when it opened in 2003, but it's refined itself since then, and Celine looks better and chest-thumps less. But her music is so relaxing that it fails to deliver the jolt of energy Vegas theater is supposed to give. Celine's also such a good singer that it sounds flawlessly like her albums, which most of the audience already owns. Watching Celine sing her songs (for $87.50 plus tax, and up) is a strange letdown because you realize that she of the perfect marriage and motherhood has no idea what the sort of sadness and desperation of "I Drove All Night" or "It's All Coming Back to Me" feels like. When people don't have nothing to do ... make some stupid comments about gorgeous things, that they just can't understand it, because they don't have enough intelengency to do it. Keep cool ... Céline's Blues Posted September 16, 2006 at 01:16 PM Author Posted September 16, 2006 at 01:16 PM I listened to his podcast the other day when he was interviewing Toni Braxton. It seems that it wasn't Céline after all whom Toni asked for advice. It was Gladys Knight. Anyway he asked Toni how does she feel performing song with so much meaning, pain in them, pointing out that she unlike CELINE DION knows what she's singing about. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

I think the best part of Las Vegas is being able to know you are in a place where Celine is and to be able to walk around and run into Celine's family eg. Michel, it's so cool how you could be in front of the shop and be able to say "Hi Michel!" or "Hello Patrick!" Rountrip Bus Fare from CA to NV: $34 A New Day ticket: $214 Celine Dion Jacket: $55 Meeting Michel, and two other Celine fans: Priceless Quote They go crazy for you because they know you're true. --Celine Dionhttp://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz226/Congenialdiva/myspacelink.jpgFollow Me on Twitter!Visit Me on Facebook!

vivezpouraimer Posted September 17, 2006 at 05:29 PM Posted September 17, 2006 at 05:29 PM How does he know that Celine hasn't had heartache? Even if she's only had disappointments, and we know she has, they are as large to her as other people's problems, because she has not expirienced anything worse. Does he think he is GOD and knows all about her life and struggles?! He is NOT God. He does NOT know. We don't even know. Ugh, that's the main point that made me upset. Quote

When I went in August I stayed at the Flamingo (totally disgusting to have to come back to your hotel and see a HUUUGE picture of Toni Braxton on the front! Bleeeh!)anyways, every single time I walked past her gift shop (at least 3-4 times a day) there was NO ONE IN THERE BUT THE EMPLOYEES! I thought the place was closed! When I was leaving I saw ONE PERSON in there and I almost passed out. Nothing need be said about Celine, she and her show speak for themselves! here's the front of the Flamingo if anyone was wondering about that picture...
